I came across this video earlier tonight after watching days and days of heart wrenching dog and puppy rescue operations. Yes, I can really relate to the lyrics of this song

Lemon was picked up by Animal Control after being found in an alley, dehydrated and severely underweight. She couldn’t lift her head, sit up, or walk. She was taken to an emergency animal hospital, then to the Kent County Animal Shelter in Michigan. Even though Lemon was in rough shape, the staff noticed her fighting spirit because her tail was always wagging.
Jennifer Collier, an employee at the shelter, decided to take Lemon home for eight months of rehabilitation before Lemon went up for adoption. Collier made this video, and wrote and performed the song for it. Lemon is now in her new home and living a happy life as a normal dog.

This song was on the first CD of Jann's I had, called Living Under June, which I listened to endlessly for quite some time I have always loved this song. I wonder if she is singing about the love of Jesus. It sure seems like it
When I got Jann's autograph many years ago (22 years?), while I was close to the front of the line I heard someone ask her, where do your songs come from? And Jann answered that she did not know, and that made me cry, because I believed her songs came from the depth of her heart and soul, and it grieved me that she claimed not to know this. When it was finally my turn, Jann thanked me for my patience in waiting so long, and I asked if I could give her a hug, so she came out from behind her table and we shared a nice big warm hug. She wrote that she loved all my purple on one of the CDs she signed for me
