I don't particularly like heavy metal, or Death metal or whatever this is called these days.
(I like some metal)

However, what I can say is that I have a really difficult time mixing this music with the words of God.
I just don't get it.

It doesn't seem to be very edifying...
I don't think it's a sin or anything like that.

Skillet is an ok band, i listen to them sometimes, as for what i think, i think its good to listen to music that supports the things you learn in Christ.

you should check out scandinavien metal prayes its realey good and they sing of jesus alot in ther songs its realy good and up lifting music check it out and let me know what you think you can find it on youtube

i have heard a few before that were pretty good, i just don't remember what the bands names were... I like to switch between different types of music in my library but you might like this from war of ages.

I have no idea WHY anyone would want to promote the false gospel of the shack by posting a video related to the shack which potentially misleads others in to a false gospel.

Well those are different genres with different sounds. It's not just a name.

I actually have trouble reconciling CCM and most mainstream Christian music with the scriptures. The music is typically trite and uninspired. So little heart in it.

haha i dont really listen to music

but i did like skillet as a teen... at least 1 song that i dont remember

i kinda liked every genre

when i found a song i liked
id play it out

till i didnt like it

now i listen to some christian music
or instrumentals

but its pretty rare...
