:) PRAISE THE LORD IN THIS SERVICE, BUT LOL I AM NOT A GUY. I USED TO SING, AND PLAY A FEW INSTRUMENT IN CHURCH, AND THESE ARE THE TIMES I REMEMBER THE MOST, GIVING TO THE LORD. I UNDERSTAND THE MUSICIANS, AS I CAN SAY I AM ONE, AND EVEN THOUGH I DID HAVE MUSIC THEORY LESSONS, I LEARNED A LOT FROM THE HOLY SPIRIT IN ASKING FOR HELLP, IN DIRECTING FOR CHORDS, THE HOLY SPIRIT WILL EVEN GUIDE YOUR HANDS, OF WHAT TO DO. A BOOK HELPS TOO, CHORDS ARE COMPOSED OF 3 NOTES, 7 CHORDS, THERE IS, THE BLACK KEYS WHICH ARE USED TO PLAY CHORDS, MINORS, AND MAJORS, THERE ARE MANY WEB SITES FOR FREE THAT YOU CAN LEARN FROM BY TYPING IN CHORDS. THE BLESS YOU IN YOUR JOURNEY AS A MUSICIAN, AND REMEMBER ALL THE PRAISE AND GLORY GOES TO THE LORD THROUGH THE HOLY SPIRIT. THERE MUST BE A BALANCE, OUR HUMAN NATURE, IS TO BE CONSUMED WITH THINGS 24'7 AT TIMES, WE NEED NEVER TO PUT MUSIC BEFORE THE LORD, IN PRAYER, AND FELLOWSHIP, REMEMBER THIS WAS LUCIFERS FALL. :)

Playing ANY instrument takes dedication and practice. You have to spend time and effort, but it is very rewarding. I recommend learning the names of notes and the types of chords and scales, and get yourself a book of simple melodies and chords. If you can, work with an experienced piano player, so you don't learn mistakes! Lord Willing, you will get it right. Anyone can make music to the Lord! :)

Just learn to roll your fingers, and alternate the playing. It's the same chord, just different sounds. Takes practice but you will eventually get to where you do it without thinking about it.
