All fear, all pain, all hurt, all grief, all lies, must bow to Jesus' name.
All kings, all thrones, everything that breathes life, must bow to Jesus' name.
The earth, the sea, the sun, the stars, the sky, must bow to Jesus' name.
Hallelujah.

Kings, crowns, thrones - bow down.
Fall face down - bow down.
Kiss the ground - bow down.
Jesus, you hold the crown.
BOW DOWN!

Awesome band, I saw them at Scream the Prayer tour back in June. The lead singer has quite the testimony.

We should not judge the way people praise God. There are many songs in different genres I love that praise God. This being one of them. It is loud and it is hard. I think we should be loud and hard for God.

The thing is, people are saying this isn't Christian because it sounds like music in the world. The fact is, every form of Christian music, from hymns, to contemporary praise and worship, has a worldly counterpart. By their logic, all Christian music is bad because it's worldly, because ALL of it has a worldly copy.

This isn't very logical and by that logic, it would even make more sense to listen to this kind of Christian music over any of the rest, because it is the least liked sound in the world, while all contemporary praise and worship, or church hymns, sound MUCH more like pop secular music. >_<

Don't let it get to ya man. I have learned to roll with the punches. No big deal anyway I guess. People are entitles to their opinions. But I wish they would approach with a little more patience, kindness and compassion. They kind of defeat their own argument by defending their belief with anger, insults and prejudice.

What does the this entire website and its large base of users have to do with the musical tastes of a few members?

According to my understanding that is not worship.
I heard the Power and the Name of Jesus being proclaimed to people who otherwise would have never listened. How is that not worship?

You don't consider those lyrics worshipful? And look at those guys happy, energetic, worshipful, expressing their love for God through song and dance, through energy and excitement.

Whats your idea of worship, Amy Grant? Hymns? Standing there expressionless?
God gave us emotions, there's nothing wrong with expressing those emotions in worship, nothing wrong with being excited about praising God, about letting your love for God show in your voice, in your actions. I'm sorry you think worship is defined by some closed, stale, dry idea where emotion and expression and excitement are obviously not allowed towards God.
