My favorite album of all time is the Trans-Siberian Orchestra's Christmas Eve and Other Stories. It's a rock opera that incorporates a lot of the favorite carols into a heart touching story of redemption. Like any opera you have to know the story to get the most out of it, but even without that the incorporation of the classics is brilliant.
