Julio was such a cool guy. I lived in S FL back then and ran into him numerous times at shows. We hung out at a secular Battle of the Bands where Strongarm played. They arrived from the airport after playing in C-Stone. Jason hurt his knee on stage first song and they duct taped his knee (in shorts, so straight to the skin and hair) and they finished the set. My buddy and Julio stormed into the pit the second they heard SA start playing.
i can't call any album "best ever" or even any artist.
i will say that no discussion of secular Industrial music can be had without mentioning Skinny Puppy,
and no discussion of Christian Industrial music can be had without mentioning Mortal.

another name that always comes up when someone talks about "Christian Industrial music" is Circle of Dust (this is Klayton, who now owns Fixt records and produces music under the name Celldweller. he and Blue Stahli, also on Fixt, started off as 'christian' artists, but were disgusted by pressure from labels etc to write more evangelical music. they're considered secular these days.)

another early 90's gospel industrial artist was Blackhouse. what's called "industrial" isn't always hard techno or keyboard effects and voice samples mixed with keyboard effects, but sometimes harsh electric noise. Mental Destruction is another 90's gospel band in this vein, but even more "noise-oriented"

more Christian Industrial from the 90's.. New Society had a much more direct scriptural message, albeit from a dark perspective. like a lot of metal, a lot of christian industrial music is lyrically full of anger against hypocrisy and wickedness, and self-deprecating in rejection of our own sinful natures.

one of the first Christian Industrial artists to really have some widespread popularity was Klank. the man behind this project was also a guitarist for Circle of Dust.

this song from 1997 (?) was a fairly big hit even with people who normally weren't into this style of music. heavy guitar-based music appealed to metalheads and techno-freaks alike, and not having a particularly evangelical message, they appealed to secular crowds as well.
