I'm still waiting on the crucified. I've heard for the last three years they've reunited and have yet to see any concert dates, or any album news

I saw someone post this video on youtube, and I thought it was funny since this was done around the same time my band was around and we used to play with them. This was also my absolute favorite song they ever did. Fun guys too hang with. Too bad there no longer exists any of their original album, really dark and drudgy, it was awesome.

I know they did a reunion concert years ago. That's the last i've heard anything about them. Christian bands are notorious for announcing reunions and then nothing is heard of again.

Jerks....Grammatrain was at least thoughtful enough to do an album!

But were they still Christian?
From what I understand the Roraback brothers still are, and Pete Stewart is not. Lyrically the album they did runs kind of in the middle of the road. A couple of the songs (Damaged and Forever) definitely feel like there is some christian overtone based on content, and since the album is available via download only there's really no word on who wrote the lyrics. There's definitely nothing on it that could be considered offensive. Either way, I just thought it was nice that they at least did something, and even though they're not full time they seem to still be planning to do more in the future

Yeah. And some bands need to get back together. At least to record.

Probably falls under one of the bands that's been posted to death, but just pointing out some of the old acts do get back together on occasion.

We got new Soul embraced not that long ago, and their message is pretty dang awesome this time around. I never thought we'd see anything else from them. The lyrics weren't even on the net until recently, not that I cared because I always get the CD version of things if I can. Who wouldn't love this song. Shouting in Jesus name amen makes me feel good.

Sorcery, systematic deception
Domination of humanity
Forging a new world order
From thrones of skull and bones

Screams of human sacrifice
Echo through the grove
A ritual for the beast
The festival of summer fire

Cremation of care
Erasing conscience
Burnt in the altar for appolyon

We will not be controlled
We will fight till the end
Our souls are not for sale
In Jesus name amen
Amen

Blasphemy, Subterfuge
Conspiracy for demonic rise
Halos and crosses are their alibis
Fear takes over as America dies
Murder the savior with politics
Serpent tongues are evident
Lies are breeding conformity
Destroying humanity

Cremation of care
Erasing conscience
Burnt in the altar for appolyon
We will not be controlled
We will fight till the end
In Jesus name amen
Amen

Going to have to get my hands on that album. I still have an old t-shirt by those guys. We need more metal like that to come out. That's so freaky sounding production. Those drums sound so tight it sounds like they're bust apart if you farted on them, haha.

I know, they can really pound it out, and fast! I still remember when I crank Immune To Emotion (off of what else, but Immune) really loudly, if it's on a stereo with with big subs the entire room flies apart. But you know what to expect with members who are/were also in Living Sacrifice. And LS released The Infinite Order in 2010, so these guys are cooking considering all the side projects they have. And there was Dead alive from SE in 2008. The members are almost on a two year release cycle when you factor in those side projects.

Mythos as an album is pretty much an anti-NWO rant, with a seriuos end times vibe to it.

This is They Live We Sleep. It's one of two offical music videos off Mythos.

Yeah. It's pretty dead. Then again rock is dying a slow painful death these days anyways. So much rap getting slipped in. Don't get me wrong, sometimes they get it right, but sometimes it just goes horribly wrong.

Earlier Disciple got rap rock/metal right. Later Disciple got the whole Southern Rock thing right. Disciple is awesome.

Not sure why the entire album was posted, but whatever. The best track comes first any ways.

Looking back upon my life I'm very thankful
That your arm is not too short to rescue
And deliver me
Take my hand and lead me out and through
Through the waters of the Red Sea
through the blood and the death of the enemy
While a new foe rages
And holds up an image of a man that I used to be

Throwing up my insides out
On my knees before the throne
Staring in the porcelain dome
That flushes away all the high of last night's waste
And I will never forget the bad taste
That was left inside my mouth
Of when she left when I cried, when I died, no I ain't going
Ain't goin' back again!
Ain't goin' back again!

Once I wasted, now I've tasted
A better life
More than I've ever known
Once I wasted, now I've tasted
A better life
More than I've ever known
Once I hated, now embraced it
A better life
More than I've known

And I'm glad that the past is gone,

That I'm never gonna be alone
Cause I found true love
Even though that my number three finger is empty
And there's nothing I'd give in exchange
For a love that strange
From when she left when I cried when I died,
no ain't going back again!
Ain't going back agan!

Once I wasted, now I've tasted
A better life
More than I've ever known
Once I wasted, now I've tasted
A better life
More than I've ever known
Once I hated, now embraced it
A better life
More than I've known

More than I've known
Once I wasted, now I've tasted
A better life
More than I've ever known
Once I hated, now embraced it
A better life
More than I've known

If she isn't considered metal she should be.

You are an evil person. I didn't recognize her name but as soon as I checked youtube "Call me Maybe" came up. Now it's stuck in my head like it is every time I walk into a store.

I will purge this thread with drywall damage through sound.

I've tried Disciple various times over the year. Just doesn't do it for me.
I rather prefer this Disciple...
