It's crazy you mention that...this is gonna drive me nuts,but there was a christian band that sounded identical to AC-DC back in the late 80's early 90's...everything about them ,the sound & even the vocals...it was crazy. I think they had a few albums too. ohhhh man...I wish I could remember their name. I haven't heard any christian version of Ozzy yet. His voice is pretty distinct. His music is all over the place style wise over the years too,so he's be hard to find a christian substitute for I think. Speaking of Ozzy...I miss Jake E. Lee. What an awesome guitarist!

I liked Guardians first CD, lost interest in them after that, actually. The really bad stuff is before they got signed. They used to wear black spandex body suits with this shiny fake chrome as armor on their chest and legs and long capes, haha. They also spelled it Gardian. And before they were Gardian they were called Fusion, they look like bmxers and paintballers had love children. This full body gear with helmets and face masks, hilarious.
Yeah, Holy Soldier had 2 good albums, but i think after that they broke up, which is why they never went anywhere, likely.
I remember Trytan but never liked them, didn't even bother buying the album.
Trouble, there were not really considered a full blown Christian band. I think they had a lot of Catholic stuff going on. They were considered 'white metal' before Christian bands started using the term.
I remember this band came out called Rage of Angels. Hair metal, but they were so awesome sounding. Their album wasn't out but maybe 6 months when the band decided to break up. They claimed the 'Christian music industry' was so bad, and they were so mistreated that there was no difference in the secular, so a bunch of them went on to secular bands. The singer was in a band that got a vid or 2 on MTV, forget the band though. Still a great CD, Rage of Angels, if you can track it down.

LOL about Guardian...sheesh what a mess,eh? Yeah,that's right Trouble did have a few catholic members,I totally forgot about that. I know they were never like full-blown saved types. (at least I don't think so..but who am I to judge? lol) Rage of Angels...wow..forgot about them & I do remember them saying the same thing about the secular & christian music industry was run by the same people & it was all about $$$. I thought too,they might have had a good shot in going somewhere,like a Stryper maybe if not breaking up. Holy Soldier,yeah the 2nd cd was called last train I think. I didn't own that one. I think I'd heard it & wasn't too impressed. Then they broke up & I think did a live cd years later...dunno. Holy Crappola @ David Benson....totes magoats @ him sounding just like Ozzy. That's crazy. LOL I swear Ugly...you can hunt down anything can't ya'? lol You da' man!:cool:

I loved Brian's solo album. It was very raw and personal. Not a fan of the Love and Death stuff though. Just sounds like over produced T&N monotony to me.

Yeah, 1st CD was good. I've heard a little of L&D, but not enough to make a decision yet. The bit i heard did sound softer, more mainstream and a bit overproduced. But we'll see.
