Hey guys, I've been trying to find some Christian Doom Metal bands but with no success. Does anybody happen to know of any? Some Symphonic Unblack bands would definitely be welcomed as well. Other genres are good too if you wanna list some favorites, but I really wish I knew of some good Christian Doom Metal bands. Thanks.

Yeah that doesn't really help since the bands aren't mentioned in their genres and people seem to be talking about Flyleaf and Red lol.

I don't think you read through the whole thread. There's some mention of Flyleaf and Red but they're hardly the focus.

Yeah, I have a short attention span lol. Too many pages to surf through. I guess I'm cursed to not find any doom metal bands....

Talk about lazy...sheesh. Here's an idea for ya',since the metal/industrial thread is too much to bother reading through for an idea of bands...GOOGLE. Let's see how yer' attention span holds up with that. LOL

Or you could just scroll through and look for videos posted in the metal/industrial thread. Seems a bit redundant for us to have things up already and then have to put the same stuff up because you don't want to look yourself. Or, as itore said, use google. We have everything from metal, punk, hardcore, black, industrial and whatever else suits us.

And you say doom, but doom is a a bit varied. Are we talking death/doom? Stoner? What kind?

My Silent Wake - EP / Shadow of Sorrow / The Anatomy of Melancholy / A Garland of Tears / IV Et Lex Perpetua (Band is headed by a Christian, and has some faith related songs, but not a 'Christian' band. Some members are non-Christian)

I'm pretty sure you've probably heard of saviour machine... It's the only Christian doom metal band I know of. Oh and I think Virgin Black is considered Doom too? Not really familiar with doom metal myself so maybe those were not what you are looking for but both have been called that so throwing those out.

try using last.fm
there you can search by genre... or you can find a band you know you like, and then go to the section with similar artists :)

I've never heard Saviour Machine referred to as doom.

I'm not familiar with doom, the only one I can think of is Impending Doom.

But if you want Unblack, I'm your man! You mentioned symphonic unblack, check out Armath Sargon

Yeah that's not bad. Got any more you can think of? Doesn't have to be symphonic, but I do enjoy symphonic lol.
