It's beautiful. I'd like to hear it 15 or 20 bpm faster though :p

Solid structure and easy to sing. Props bro. How long have you been writing?
I've been writing for about 14 years now. I always enjoy talking to other songwriters.

You record with a DAW or analog? Midi instruments or real? What's your primary instrument? Mine is guitar/vocal. Have any more samples?

@MatthewMichael - Been writing for about 15 years ever since I left school. Record through Cubase, all the instruments are real except the drums which is EZDrummer which I program with midi. Violins are programmed with Edirol, piano I play but it's sent through a piano vsti. Primary instrument would be Bass/vocal. Busy working on an album so I will upload more tracks. Just testing the water with this forum to see if people are interested.

@ther forms of music the creation, performance, significance, and even the definition of Christian music varies according to culture and social context. Christian music is composed and performed for many purposes, ranging from aesthetic pleasure, religious or ceremonial purposes, or as an entertainment product for the marketplace.

Sweet. I haven't worked with Cubase. I only have experience with Logic. I had a buddy who loved EZdrummer. He liked Superior Drummer too, which I think is made by toontracks as well. I use Logic's stock midi drum kits and I'm also a big user of the Komplete synths, drums and effects.

Hopefully I can get some music uploaded soon, but I don't have anything that I'm ready to share at this time. Hearing such a good sounding recording is definitely a great motivator. I'm excited to hear more.

The problem I have is I'm my own worst critic, I'm constantly comparing my recordings to the pro stuff in terms of the quality. I have to keep reminding myself that I don't have the gear needed to get the pro sound, but I will keep trying to get as close as I can. Ultimately for me it's about the song, you could have a great sounding song in terms of production, but from a spiritual side it lacks. As long as God is the inspiration for the track he can use it irrespective of it's production level.

Upload something as soon as you can, always keen to hear new stuff. Thanks again for the kind comments.

I can understand that. I'm the same way about my music. I have several bad writing habits.
1.) not finishing compositions/getting bored
2.) liking a piece for a bit and then deciding it's lame

I agree that it's more about the song that the production. A great song is a strong vocal melody with moving lyrics. Harmony and instrumentation are icing.

Thank you for the encouragement. I'll try to get something finished.
