If AC is a Christian and is living as one now, I wish he would be more vocal about his past life and the difference between then and how and why he is living now.
Have you actively gone out to seek this information? Or has it just not come across your path so you assume its not out there?

I love the Coop! Saw him live a bunch of times! Most recently with his co-headlining tour with Marilyn Manson. If you dig Alice Cooper, you guys might like Marilyn Manson. They are very similar in themes and every album is a brilliant concept album by both bands, challenging social morals and society. Manson has a reputation for being Satan himself, but if anyone took the time to really understand his art, they would realize it has a lot of valuable messages and makes for truly amazing multi-layered stories. It's not just random dumb rock songs. It's a concept piece. You'd have to sit and listen to the whole album and study it to begin to understand.

Also, a few years back, Alice Cooper went on tour with 2 of my other favorite bands as well! Rob Zombie and The Murderdolls (Joey Jordison and Wednesday 13 band)

That was epic!

Alice knows how to put on an amazing entertaining show! And on the most recent tour I mentioned with Marilyn Manson, they joined each other each night for a duet!

What positive concept am i missing when Manson mocks God and desecrates bibles? The guy is some bitter, drugged out shock rocker into sexual fetishes and an obvious disdain for God and all God stands for. Rather silly to be encouraging Christians, on a Christian site, to listen to him.

He speaks about his faith a bit in this interview.

I have seen Manson live with AC and honestly while I won't say I didn't enjoy the music,
he did freak me out quite a bit. There is quite a difference between both of them I noticed.

Yes, i've heard him speak on it before. My question was, in context, aimed at someone who commented that they wished he spoke more on his faith.
Some of Mansons music was ok, but his stances and lyrics i can't tolerate. And the music isn't great either, just good at best.

Alice was a stone freak. My friend and I were all LA street fighting whites do our choices were very different than Alice. More like Megadeath... lol. But when we were little kids this was the kind of music most of us listened to besides the oldies:

The Hippie Mafia
Orange Sunshine: The Brotherhood of Eternal Love and Its Quest to Spread Peace, Love, and Acid to the World: Nicholas Schou: 9780312607173: Amazon.com: Books

My Karate Instructor, when I was a little kid, used to surf with the leader of the Hippie Mafia John Griggs. The last government case against these tweakers ended in 2009. The son of Cecil Hicks (Cecil Hicks was the original prosecutor in the first Hippie Mafia case) prosecuted the last member of the Hippie Mafia finally closing the books in 2009.

The indictments began in 1972 and didn't end until 2009. That's a LONG time for a case to resolve!

Oden Fong, the famous pastor at Calvary Chapel was a member of this group. What happened to him is he took an entire vial of LSD at Joshua Tree national monument and went on a trip of trips. The people that were with him said he passed out.

Oden recounts that he found himself in a dark place utterly alone on some spiritual plane and began calling out every name of a holy being he had ever learned starting with Buddha but nothing happened and no one came. Finally in desperation he yelled out Jesus Christ and at that moment a blazing spiritual being so bright that he had to turn his back and look away from the being came up to him and said, "I am the Alpha and the Omega, the beginning and the end."

Oden had never heard these words before. He wasn't brought up in church, never read the Bible, never hung around a Christian. When he came back, he began a search to find out what that meant and ended up in Calvary where he was born again and today is renown pastor there.

But here, let Oden tell you his story himself:

I wouldn't call myself a "fan", but I did get to see him in concert 2 years ago. It was a pretty good show. Really odd decorations though lol. He had this blow up sex doll with him the whole time kissing on it and stuff. Seems a bit much for a "Christian" artist to have on stage......
I do wish that as representatives of Christ that being a new creation we would run from the associations and alliances with the world. This man has years of music and fans. Concerts and videos that reference who he was. So why not make a very distinct and noticeable contrast? As Christians, I think we don't hold ourselves to a high enough standard when it comes to separating ourselves from the world. A man with such an opportunity and who has fans and has been in the public eye should proclaim the good news at every opportunity. The fact that you barely hear about this man's conversion is odd to me. And I was into metal during that time after he was saved.

I'll ask what i asked another, who never gave an answer. Do you not hear of it because, among the billions of bits of information and misinformation flying around the world at any given time, they did not come across your path? Or have you actively sought out this information and not heard about it?
I've heard plenty about it. And many people who have known about his conversion. I first heard about it many years ago.The information is out there, and he talks about his faith. If you haven't actively sought out information then its wrong to assume it's not out there.

No I have heard and maybe I am not as active in seeking out his info as I am not a big fan. I just saw the performances done on video after his being saved. My point was more about leaving or separating in image from his old self. It's my opinion and that doesn't make it fact. I may look deeper into it and find more examples so no I haven't been extremely active in seeking this information. And I am a man like any other man and I have flaws in my example. My hope for all people who are a new creation is that they strive for that. To be unmistakably set apart.

I see exactly what your point is. But what interesting is I haven noticed some of his older, more darker songs, he dosen't perform LIVE any more. Songs like Gail, most songs from Welcome to My Nightmare, etc, etc, and I have also noticed his music is starting to sound a little more "bubblegum" and seem to have more of a good vs. evil theme in it. In fact, has anyone listened to his album The Last Temptation? I'm not sure if I mentioned it but the entire album seems to tell a story of a encounter with Satan. Seems to me to be about a boy who gets tempted by the devil to sell his soul into getting into some freakshow, and later taking a look back at his life and choose God over Satan. At least thats the theme I get from Stolen Prayer. And Cleansed by Fire, it seems to be the devil making one last attempt to snatch him back after him finding himself in Christ.

I was never allowed to listen to any music with guitars in them when i was younger because mom controlled what i was allowed to listen to she said she had to protect my soul, so i missed out on all this awesome stuff.

I used to believe Alice Cooper was a Christian...
until I found out he was a golfer.

We all know plaid golf pants come from the DARK SIDE.
