this is your opinion, why would one waist 1000 posts over personal taste, or preference. it's all good brother.
Yes, it is my opinion. And i never said it was anything else. And i didn't 'waste' anything. Majority of posts on here are subjective, including all this you're posting. What i wonder is why you would 'waist' a post pointing out things that are obvious, and to criticize me for doing what you, and everyone else does.

Take it easy Ugly, he was sharing what he knew, which is what I asked for. I appreciate the passion, friend.

Also the reason why I asked this is because before I was saved I listened to it alot. Most of dubstep is called "dirty" and has given me mass paranoia at one time. I saw it as evil like every pastor that fought the rock n' roll revolution. Of course we know as Christians that we have to be selective to what we listen to. And I have been asked by other people, "So...you don't listen to dupstep anymore?"

So the verdict is music is only evil/bad by it's content, not the style itself. Hopefully this will help other younger Christians. Thanks guy<3

I like Accordian music :] And violin and flute and all those old school instruments. Dubstep is just about new style instruments. There's appreciation in all kinds of music.

Some will tell you that any music made for dancing is the "Devil's music". They are not only wrong, but they are committing blasphemy by denying that God can use those styles of music for His glory.

But, do be careful of what you are listening to:
Philippians 4:8 "Finally, brothers, whatever is true, whatever is noble, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is admirable—if anything is excellent or praiseworthy—think about such things." ... Also, even if the song has positive lyrics, or even no lyrics, SOME artists intentionally place sexual and violent subliminal messages within their songs (this is not exclusive to dubstep songs either).

So, if you are listening to a song, and begin questioning if you should be listening to it, your conscience has already deemed it unclean and you should stop listening to that song or artist. Romans 14:14 states "I am convinced, being fully persuaded in the Lord Jesus, that nothing is unclean in itself. But if anyone regards something as unclean, then for that person it is unclean."
Otherwise, if you have a good conscience listening to it, then don't even question it!

btw, chillstep is the new trance. post-rock is another viable replacement for trance, like
Weaver at the Loom.
