How many of the songs in your life are about judgment? Our lives as contemporary, professing Christians easily include songs about God's love and mercy. Judgment upon enemies is a frequent theme of the Psalms. In the Book of Revelation in the Song of Moses, Almighty God is praised for His Justice.

Revelation 15:3 And they sing the song of Moses the servant of God, and the song of the Lamb, saying, Great and marvelous are thy works, Lord God Almighty; just and true are thy ways, thou King of saints.

Psalm 101:1 - I will sing of mercy and judgment: unto thee, O LORD, will I sing.

Alternate translation: "I will sing of your love and justice...". God initiates relationship with mankind in love and mercy but yet He will bring about justice and judgement. "Mercy is God's Alpha, justice is His Omega...When God's mercy is despised, then His justice takes the throne!" - Thomas Brooks (1608-1680), Precious Remedies Against Satan's Devices

God prefers to bring mercy but He will bring judgment to those who refuse to engage his mercy.
