So I just heard this song never gonna be leone by nickelback and ya it has an earthly meaning of someone you love not leaving you but if you think about it it could potentially have a heavenly meaning too seeing that God never leaves our sides.

Most members of U2 are Christian, possibly all of them are. God can speak to us through non-Christian bands. Absolutely. We just have to be discerning and see if what is said lines up with the Word of God.

Just remember that Paul quoted a secular poet, that's sufficient for me to know God can use anyone.

Nickelback isn't my favorite band, but I went on youtube and watched the video for that song...and man, its real sad

I don't think it's meant to be sad per say I think it depends on the listener. I heard about it from a of in middle school who I liked
