This is getting out of hand. We need a major crackdown on all these guns in America. Hoping the child that is shot will be okay and hoping the shooter will be shown mercy and turn back from his ways.

let me guess you are one of them loony leftist who think everything is the fault of the gun. we got a lot of stabbings going on should we put a ban on a knives as well? oh and how about them drunk drivers maybe we need a major crackdown on autos

Maybe instead we should wonder why we are raising so many seriously disturbed children in this day and age. Obviously there's something deeply wrong with modern society. This is not normal.

Nay, I am neither a leftist nor do I think guns are the problem of everything, but how many more school shootings and shootings in general does one have to witness before they say something has to change?

As for banning knives, sure go ahead.

As for drunk drivers, I guess cracking down on the one ton death machine is one way about it. Or you could crackdown on alcohol instead, either way is fine by me.

This is true, it is indeed the sick society one generation after the other. At this rate the best we can hope for is to disarm it while we still have the chance. I wish it weren't normal, but this has been the normal since I was a kid.

The reason people like me have guns is to protect ourselves from wackjobs who wish to do us harm. But it is people like you who want everyone disarmed but you know something. criminals will still have guns! thus more innocent people end up slaughtered. Just look how well "gun control" worked in Chicago... (answer not at all. criminals still have guns, innocent people get slaughtered)

My first thought was, this is what happens when remove prayer from our schools. :(

I never said we need to disarm everyone and ban guns, that was your suggestion. I am down with that suggestion though if that is what it takes to stop all this terrible gun violence. It is not a bad suggestion, especially considerring this blight in my lifetime wherein children are killing children. Sorry, but I believe the children of America are more important than guns.

My original thought was we need a crackdown on guns, we need more restrictions, we need to do something about this problem. Anyone with eyes and ears can see and hear about how gun violence is a major problem in this current era in the USA and this problem needs to be dealt with. If we gotta go far-rightist and crackdown on guns with the provisions all ready in existence and strengthen and more importantly enforce the responsible gun ownership provisions of the various states, then so be it. If we gotta go far-leftist and nullify the Second Amendment (which is Constitutionally feasible as the precedent for nullifying Amendments to the Constitution all ready exists), then so be it.

This is exatcly what my momma and my grandma is saying.

But, from what I've heard, it was bad back then as well. There was shooting, knives,
lynch mobs, kluxers and vigilante law...folks aint getting better nor worse...

I remember saying prayers in public school.......and I remember them removing them.......
And as soon as they did .......they installed metal detectors.....go figure.....good plan people...
They still cant figure why ...I dont want to be "politically correct" I want Jesus back with our
children......where He so rightfully deserves to be.......suffer the children.......hmh

What you suggest is more dangerous to children than what you propose to eradicate. Those that survive would inherit a country without liberty or law.

We'd lose both the world and our souls in the process.
