I had read about this yesterday on CNN. From my reading this was meant to be temporary due to the shooting of a jewish activist recently/ From my reading the rationale behind the temporary closure is to attempt to prevent riots/unrest on both sides. Though of course intentions mean little to nothing and now this situation has become something unto itself. I am hoping the situation will be diffused, but we shall see.

There's been pressure building on the Mount over the past year as more and more Jews, expecially the youth are longing for their roots

That site is promised to be a hotbed of turmoil as the future site of the 3rd Temple.

Where does scripture say there will be a third temple built by human hands? Where does Jesus or the apostles mention it either?

Ezekiel 40 gives another temple to be built, and in Revelation 11 shows another temple that will exist during the tribulation period and shows the two witnesses standing in front of it while they prophesy for 1,260 days.

What? know ye not that your body is the temple of the Holy Ghost which is in you, which ye have of God, and ye are not your own?

That's just more heresy from my non believing Jews cousins in their fables. It was successfully designed to subvert the gullible Goyim/cattle Christian nations into supporting them financially and religiously. The amazing delusion of everyone looking over here into the middle east, instead of knowing that they are themselves the Temple of the Living God;

Another temple is going to be built, and the bible speaks of it.
This is not heresy. In Ezekiel 40 it talks about another temple, and Revelation 11 shows a rebuilt temple.
For the past couple of days Israel and Palestine's have been fighting over the temple mount again, and the all the stuff that goes into the temple has already been made and is just waiting for the temple to be rebuilt.
They have been pushing for this, and the bible shows it will happen.

Sorry but there is NOT ONE place in the NT that any of the disciples or Jesus EVER say there will be a third temple built by human hands. John being one of the disciples with Jesus and knowing Jesus prophecy about the destruction of both Jerusalem and the temple NEVER once mentions that is a PAST fact. The temple that John sees is the temple of his day,not some future rebuilt temple.

The temple in Ezekiel 43 will never be built as it was suppose to be built from their return from the Babylonian exile.

Ezekiel 43

[SUP]10 [/SUP]“Son of man, describe the temple to the people of Israel, that they may be ashamed of their sins. Let them consider its perfection,
[SUP]11 [/SUP]and if they are ashamed of all they have done, make known to them the design of the temple—its arrangement, its exits and entrances—its whole design and all its regulations[SUP][d][/SUP] and laws. Write these down before them so that they may be faithful to its design and follow all its regulations.

The sad part is most Christians WILL NEVER seek to find where this all got started and how. The people involved etc etc etc.
Most have no idea where this all is really leading to.

IMHO, I don't have much longer on this Earth, but I think that I will live to see the Mosque removed in my lifetime.

(2Th 2:10)
And with all deceivableness of unrighteousness in them that perish; because they received not the love of the truth, that they might be saved.
(2Th 2:11)
And for this cause God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie:
(2Th 2:12)

That they all might be damned who believed not the truth, but had pleasure in unrighteousness.

(Rev 18:7)
How much she hath glorified herself, and lived deliciously, so much torment and sorrow give her: for she saith in her heart, I sit a queen, and am no widow, and shall see no sorrow.

(Rev 18:8)
Therefore shall her plagues come in one day, death, and mourning, and famine; and she shall be utterly burned with fire: for strong is the Lord God who judgeth her.

(Rev 18:9)
And the kings of the earth, who have committed fornication and lived deliciously with her, shall bewail her, and lament for her, when they shall see the smoke of her burning,

(Rev 18:10)
Standing afar off for the fear of her torment, saying, Alas, alas, that great city Babylon, that mighty city! for in one hour is thy judgment come.

When the whorish city burns, finally once and for all... THEN those who are afar shall go RUH ROW haHAAA!!

(Psa 2:1)
Why do the heathen rage, and the people imagine a vain thing?

(Psa 2:4)
He that sitteth in the heavens shall laugh: the Lord shall have them in derision.

1Co 6:15 Know ye not that your bodies are members of Christ? shall I then take away the members of Christ, and make them members of a harlot? God forbid.
1Co 6:16 Or know ye not that he that is joined to a harlot is one body? for, The twain, saith he, shall become one flesh.
1Co 6:17 But he that is joined unto the Lord is one spirit.
1Co 6:18 Flee fornication. Every sin that a man doeth is without the body; but he that committeth fornication sinneth against his own body.
1Co 6:19 Or know ye not that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit which is in you, which ye have from God? and ye are not your own;
1Co 6:20 for ye were bought with a price: glorify God therefore in your body.

1Co 6:19 has nothing to do with the construction of a new temple. It will be built again.

(Mal 2:11)
Judah hath dealt treacherously, and an abomination is committed in Israel and in Jerusalem; for Judah hath profaned the holiness of the LORD which he loved, and hath married the daughter of a strange god.
