It's an interesting project, but I'm quite skeptical of it. You know, video editing. There's no telling what they left out, who the people are, etc.

to be fair we probably wats emore money on helping israel than on ending isis. So yeah israel is kind of a problem. Of course this will get blown away by 'israel is God's chosen people and abraham's heir', because apparently people dont read Galatians.

Good video but I would have appreciated the differences in reaction more if he had filmed both at the same place.

Hmm, it doesn't seem in the video that they support the Islamic State, but are rather indifferent to it. My guess here is most of the passersby simply have no idea what the Islamic State is. This should not be too surprising, it is Berkeley after all.

Read: The reason that liberals hate Christianity, but ignore Islam

And as for the video LOLOL. Savage had it right: this "progressive" modern liberalism is a dangerous mental disorder.
One guy sarcastically wishes him good luck, another nods, another holds his hand half heartedly, and the last tells the man with the flag he can't smoke. Hardly an indication that students are supportive of ISIS. There's also no proof any are leftists.

As for the Israeli flag, people sympathize with the Palestinian people all over the world, right-wingers and left-wingers alike. I don't think any of it is an indication of a dangerous mental disorder. I think that's a total exaggeration.

I notice that he flew those flags at different places and different times.

The Israel flags were definitely done in more populated areas and times.

If someone flew the Isis flag in the street, to be fair I wouldn't even know what it is unless I was told.

But I imagine flying a flag when people were hurrying to lectures got less hits than flying a flag at lunch time.

No one caught the clip when he lit a cigarette, he was quickly told 'no smoking'.?

I heard Avi in an interview about the filming, he spent two hours with the ISIS flag and less than an hour with the Israeli flag. And for those raising desperate objections about it being filmed in a different place or time I hope you won't deny that antisemitism is definitely on the rise and so it shouldn't be a surprise that the Israeli flag drew more criticism than the ISIS flag at the Berkeley Campus.

I too believe the creator of the video is out to "prove" something rather than simply perform a test and let the chips fall where they will and report the outcome.

But I see this type of behavior all the time in society. I'd classify it as hyperbole. However, the funny thing about hyperbole is that it's an exaggeration of something that actually exists.

THe other conclusion that can be drawn is that the Islamic State is a new entity which needs time to enter popular culture and become a household name, especailly the flag which most people will not be able to associate with Islamic State, where as the ISraeli flag has been constantly in the media and news for many decades.
