The irony of Travolta is that he became cool after rejecting the cool label. GOP candidates take note...
So he had a beard before it was cool to have a beard and then suddenly it was cool to have beard but now they are saying it is no longer cool to have a beard.....metaphorically speaking of course. It's really hard to keep up with what is cool these days. Cuz yesterdays cool is tomorrows sitting at home all alone with your beard.

John Travolta is cool? Uh you know about his little dalliances with men and his connections to Scientology cult right? Don't tell the GOPers to take note of that. They might think then to pick the SDA cultist.

What you did not read the news about Travolta? That is old news even.

Or were you meaning the SDA? It's a cult, started by a false prophet called Ellen G White. That's not secret either. False prophetess that got doomsday wrong at least 3 times is a cult bro. Not by my definition either, its not to my credit, the real prophets of the real God foretold of the cults and false religions and the corruption of nations in the Bible thousands of years ago.

We were just having a little fun. I'm sorry I rained on your serious parade. My bad.

Oh just adding a little of my own to the fun of the witty allusions to politics and pop culture. Why can't seriousness be fun?

It was fun til someone brought up Revolta. He killed the Western look with his urban cowboy shtick b4 his disco fling...thanks to Rocky.

Lol, now I am confused.

The Western look? Lol John Travolta don't look like no cowboy.

This is what the cowboys look like:

(Spoiler Alert: End of one of the best movies ever made, if you haven't seen it go watch the full thing first.)

EDIT: Also good metaphor for the struggle for the GOP between the Good, the Bad, and the Ugly.

Isn't it fascinating that often we are disgusted in someone else because we see in them, something we don't like in ourselves. Just being honest here. Hillary makes my skin crawl. I wonder what it is in me that causes this reaction?

she does mine too.

call it intuition?

Call me a bad Christian, but I thought Travolta was a pretty awesome villain in The Punisher. And who could forget him as Vincent Vega in Pulp Fiction? Everything else he's ever done could be absolute junk, but that performance will be remembered as long as there are movies. Partially because of the actors he shared the screen with and the trippy, non-linear, obscene nature of the film.

Perhaps I am to Travolta what Godissalvation is to Kasich.

Everyone needs to have a John to be a hipster about. :p

Lol, funny analogy, but I ain't a fanboy for any politician. The master don't bow to the slave. The king that is tipped before pawns forfeits the chess game.

The only John I am hipster for is Boanerges, the greatest mortal writer in history. Provably so by how influential his writings are. No mortal man has wielded a pen like beloved John. And that all is just minor compared to John's great love for God.

Posthuman introduced me to my favorite band. That man is the one to talk to about music.

The king that is tipped before pawns resigns the game, the king that steps diagonally adjacent to a pawn loses the game.

Resign, forfeit, same thing, still a loss. Lol the king cannot put himself in check.

Man, this reminds me I haven't played chess in over a year, I'm probably all rusty. If I may be a bit of a fool and brag, I am a heck of a chess player, or at least I was last time I played lol. I'll even let ya'll in on one of my secret tactics. Learn to play without relying on the queen. For about 70% of chess opponents, if you sacrifice your queen for theirs it will psychologically shock them enough to give you a win.

Donkeyfish might have something to say about that. He trounced me in a game about a year ago.

I agree, though. Some of the worst chess players I know sought to protect the queen, not the king. I took advantage of it, hahahaha.
