Oh, please ... so this is supposed to be the antichrist??
One, he didn't "come out of nowhere." He's been active in the Communist Party of Greece from Synaspismos since 1999, was elected to Athens' city council in 2006, and to Parliament in 2009. He's been very outspoken throughout his political career about the financial austerity the rest of Europe has forced on Greece. Your "story" claims he's "appeared out of nowhere in the last couple of years, almost magically." Horse hockey! Perhaps from a U.S. perspective, he "came out of nowhere" but even at that, I'm sure State has known about him for years. Probably has a heavy file on him.
Two, speculation about the antichrist is worthless. God will do what He's going to do, through whom He is going to do it, in His time, not ours, and not so anyone will actually see it coming.
And this doesn't belong in the News Forum as it is written. It belongs in an End Times thread.
