Federal judge temporarily blocks Obama's immigration executive action

A federal judge has granted a request by 26 states to temporarily block President Obama's executive action on illegal immigration, allowing a lawsuit aimed at permanently stopping the orders to make its way through the courts.

U.S. District Judge Andrew Hanen granted the preliminary injunction Monday after hearing arguments in Brownsville, Texas last month. He wrote in a memorandum accompanying his order that the lawsuit should go forward and that without a preliminary injunction the states will "suffer irreparable harm in this case."
Of course the White House jumped on the court order, claiming that DOJ and other courts had deemed the president's EO to be "legally grounded."

The order was take effect Wednesday. Judge Hanen reasoned, in his ruling, that the implementation of the order while the lawsuit continued would have effects that were virtually irreversible, and that "the genie would be impossible to put back in the bottle."

The Fifth Circuit in New Orleans will hear an appeal of the court order from the administration.

The Circuit Court should allow the ruling to stand............IF they judge it on the merits of the Federal Judges decision.....and not on political ideology. We shall see.

It seems the U.S. is the only nation on earth that makes laws identifying what illegal immigration is and then works to stop the prosecution of those laws when certain immigrants violate it.

We seem to be the only nation that is not sovereign. Every other nation enforces it's immigration. Unfortunately, illegals are the only votes democrats can legitimately get. What concerns me is that the GOP isn't any better. It's a mess.

Obama ignoring the court is the only chance they have to win the election in 2016, having five million new Democratic Party voters to count on.

"Cable TV could cover Muslim atrocities 24 hours a day, seven days a week, from 632 A.D. to the end of time, without repeating themselves...

By now, the public knows more about ISIS than they know about the Kardashians. But it has no idea that the very same Senate Democrats who claimed to oppose Obama's amnesty when they were campaigning are currently filibustering a bill to defund it, and Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell is ready to cave.

ISIS has killed four Americans -- in Syria. We're not exactly talking about another 9/11. Here's a tip: If you don't want to be killed by ISIS, don't go to Syria.

Meanwhile, illegal aliens have killed, raped and maimed thousands of Americans -- in America. If you don't want to be killed, raped or maimed by illegal immigrants in your own country, I have no tips for you. There's nothing you can do. You're on your own. Good luck.

Our politicians don't care. They are obsessed with cleaning up the rest of the world, while we're getting our clock cleaned at home...."

Ok, this is interesting. As most of you know, liberals have devalued marriage for men over decades in Western Civilization and more recently have sought to actually deconstruct it from absolute monogamy (one man and one woman) to other forms such as homosexual marriage.

One of the results has been a rapid decline in the marriage rate as well as a rapid increase in single parent homes. But here's another interesting fact that Pew Research is now reporting: Both natural born and immigrant fertility rates in the U.S. are decreasing as new births decrease amongst both populations.

Read this: The birth rate declined twice as much for immigrants as natives | @wwwcisorg | Center for Immigration Studies

"The idea that immigration can prevent the aging of society and 'rebuild the demographic pyramid' because they are 'more fertile' has an intrinsic appeal. It is tempting partly because it seems like a quick fix to problems like funding Social Security and Medicare and avoiding politically painful choices like cutting benefits, raising taxes, or extending the retirement age.

Prior research shows that the immigration-will-fix-aging argument is largely a mirage. As this analysis shows, immigrants' somewhat higher fertility has only a small impact on the overall fertility rate no matter how fertility is measured. In fact, even if the number of immigrant women (15 to 50) doubled, along with the number of births to this population, it would only raise the nation's overall birth rate for women 15 to 50 by 3 percent.

Further, the fertility of immigrants is declining. This decline in immigrant fertility means that the small impact immigration has on the overall fertility rate in the United States, and the resulting impact on the aging of the America's population, is becoming even smaller. Fertility is dropping around the world, including from all of the primary immigrant-sending regions. Thus it should come as no surprise that immigrants in the United States are also having fewer children. One can favor reduced or increased immigration for any number of reasons, but America will simply have to look for solutions other than immigration to deal with the challenges associated with an aging society."

^ One of the ramifications is that THE ONLY WAY TO NORMALIZE SEVERE IMPENDING POPULATION AND AGING RELATED ECONOMIC LIABILITIES IS FOR MEN AND WOMEN TO MARRY AGAIN AT A RATE THEY ONCE DID, BIRTH CHILDREN, AND RAISE THEM TO BE MORAL, PRODUCTIVE, WORKING, TAX PAYERS.

That, of course, means reforming the entire public education system to teach God's normative morality once more rather than the immoral/amoral relativistic pluralistic feminist homosexual liberal agenda; revalue marriage for men so they want to marry once more in large numbers and have children (which also means the end of no-fault divorces); cease deconstructing marriage (for a great many reasons); etc...

Well thats not entirely true. Im not sure how Mexico handles the other side of their border, but if you walk over from the U.S side they don't care. Ive been to Mexico a few times and on their side, all there is is a turnstyle gate. You just walk through it, no one is there to check your ID or even ask for your name. You can go straight into the city or jump in a taxi immediately and go wherever you want. The first person that approached me there was a restaurant owner about a mile from the border who wanted me to come buy a gigantic martini for two dollars. Lol, Mexico is not the least bit concerned about who crosses their border from our side.

Getting back over to our side though, even as a citizen, was a pain in the neck. Stand in line for maybe two hours, answer fifty questions, show ID, and perhaps get pulled into secondary at random for a full pat down. People jump through amazing hoops to get here illegaly. People have been caught duct taped underneath of cars, stuffed in trunks, digging tunnels the other side, crossing 20 miles or more on foot through rough wilderness terrain. We may have serious problems with immigration but so far, its not exactly a cake walk getting over here. People get busted trying all the time. Its hard to imagine how things would change if this bill became law.

I was wholly correct. I think you just misread what I said.
