How about "Political" greed? Is that real? How about "Special Interest" greed........is that real?

That's precisely what I am saying. Man's sinful nature influences every human enterprise.

Rather than assume posts like this are Hate America threads, maybe you should propose some real solutions.

I know that this happens in other countries too. That doesn't make it right. The market seems to be adjusting in response to this incident. It is investors and consumers that will pay for this type of activity.

I remember when it used to be a sign of patriotism to support Made in America goods. Now I guess it's a sign of patriotism to support Made in China goods and to support companies who build factories overseas in order to save a couple of bucks. Strange times we live in.

When every thread that appears here has a "negative reflection" of America without specifying that America "is not alone in this," well, then, yes it certainly appears to be a "hate America" thread. It's that "If it quacks like a duck........."thingy.

How do we deal with any/all of these? It starts with the citizens of the US (or any other country) actually becoming involved in the Political Process in a KNOWLEDGABLE way............and electing Congressional representatives who will actually do something to fix the problems.

Corporations are in business to profit. Not to break even or end up in the red. Just as any other Business in the US or any other country is. People do not invest their money, time, and lives into opening/operating a business to lose money.

You said this: Is there no end to what the American Corporations will do to provide us with a cheaper product?

The odd thing is, you are dissing American Corporations for doing what they can to decrease their operational expense in order to maximize their profits AND PROVIDE more AFFORDABLE products to the citizens. Clearly, the American consumer is benefiting from the actions of the Corporation, are they not?

You said this: It is investors and consumers that will pay for this type of activity.

Maybe yes, maybe not. Not speaking of ONE SPECIFIC instance, but IN GENERAL, when a Corporation generates more profit, the Investors "benefit" from the increase in profits. As well, if the Corporation manages to supply consumers with a more affordable product, then the consumers benefit as well.

If the Corporations fail to do either of these, then someone will suffer.......that is a given.

Additionally.............while this specific instance may appear to have "legs," this WOULD NOT be the FIRST TIME China LIED to American businesses concerning how they produced a particular product they were contracted to do. I want to see this investigation play out. IF Lumber Liquidators knowingly involved themselves in this fraud, then, good, toss them in jail. However, if China lied to Lumber Liquidators concerning their production of this flooring, who do you wish to "hang?"

By the way, cherry picking ONE INSTANCE in no way justifies branding ALL Corporations in America in such a way.

Being critical of an American corporation isn't the same thing as being critical of America the country. A large number of US corporations seem to have very little loyalty to America or the American people. Being critical of them isn't unAmetican.

I agree...list some facts about this illustrious country and the (LOVE AMERICA) and LOVE AMERIAN sin lovers come out and start dissing on those who are simply stating facts.....gotta love a country that claims Christ by majority yet....
1. Murders it babies en masse
2. Promotes and breeds greed, selfishness, self, sexual immorality
3. Removes God from everything while making Christians out to be bigots
4. Embraces and promotes the worship of self
5. Embraces and promotes if it feels good and you want it now take it and get all you can get....

Here we go...I fully expect the I just hate America proponets to come out en masse and tell me if I dont like it just MOVE while totally missing the facts and the truths of what was just posted......

Lets all sing (IMAGINE) and pretend these things do not exist while swallowing hook, line and sinker the idea of this country being such a Godly, Christian Nation............

One thing that is ignored in all of this is the over regulation and taxation of US industries. With Lumber Liquidators, if they knowingly participated, like p_rehbein said, they should be punished justly, but this comes down to the dollar.

But think of this, how many people here shop at Wal-Mart instead of local businesses to save money? Why do we criticize corporations who produce outside the US when they share the same goal as the person who chooses Wal-Mart over small businesses due to price. That's all of topic, ain't it...LOL

practically no one here knows. on other threads, when someone posts the true answer from scripture,

they're inundated with camouflaged and uncamouflaged lies, attacks, deceptions and innuendos of evil and of

innuendos of evil origin.....

if someone passing by wants to find the answer, it's been available for a while now, freely, online, but few find it.... (the scriptural answer; in line with and accordance with all of the bible, yahweh's word).

Yes. How do we deal with it?

I laugh at all these companies that move manufacturing to china. next thing they do is start complaining about the counterfeiting of the products they make yet won't name the nation (china) as the problem or fix the problem (by leaving)
That same nation that they won't name is also guilty of causing harm to many people due to counterfeiting.

Also any nation that lets its manufacturing to leave becomes nothing more then another poor third world dump thus commits national suicide. but the sheeple don't care as long as they have that stupid cell phone and can watch idiotic programs on the tellie.

Do you have documented evidence to identify this "large number" of American Corporations by name and what they are guilty of? Just wondering, because that is a fairly broad brush you are painting with there.

Look, I am not now, nor have I ever been a fan of "outsourcing" American jobs, or "made in China" Wal-Mart profiting, but it is not illegal, and, at times, it does make good business sense for these folks to do what they do.

The Corporations are not the problem, PRIMARY problem. The Government and it's out of control Regulations over Corporations is the problem. If the Government creates an environment here in America that makes it almost impossible for a Corporation to be successful, and profitable, then one can hardly blame the Corporation for finding other ways to be so.

True. And, if people would realize it, the "Market place" economy will punish those who do not play by the rules, just as they reward those that do.

Inform the people of such instances............and the people will render the punishment.
