Medieval remedy to treat eye infections found to kill MRSA superbug

Researchers in Britain and the U.S. have found that a medieval concoction meant to treat eye infections also has the ability to kill the MRSA superbug

The Daily Telegraph reported that the recipe, which dates from the 10th century, calls for two species of Allium -- a scientific type that includes garlic, onion, and leek -- as well as wine and oxgall, or bile from the stomach of a cow.

The paper reports that the recipe specifically calls for the mixture to be brewed in a brass vessel, purified through a strainer, and left to sit for nine days before use.
[Emphasis added]
I don't think it kills the MRSA virus. I think the MRSA virus smells it coming from a mile away and flees in terror.

I just had a neighbor and friend who died from, basically, the effects and complications arising from a MRSA infection. This was of HUGE interest to me. Thank you.

Kind of like the ability of silver to kill some 500 known pathogens in less that 5 minutes.....was used by the Greeks, Romans, Settlers, Jews etc.....Silver in milk will keep it from curdling and I know someone personally (who turned me on to colloidal silver-suspended silver) who had a tumor in his back the size of a soft ball....he made some colloidal silver (about $1.00) and had his neighbor inject the tumor....in three months it was gone............

I made a gallon one time and dumped it into a outhouse and it completely killed the smell for 4 weeks during the summer....(outhouse) temporarily used of course when building in the woods HAHAH

Of course the drawback to colloidal silver is those who overuse it and turn blue. ;)

Yeah but research this as well.

You only need a couple of spoonfuls not to guzzle gallons of it like people who believe more is better

Thats his own fault, anything in excess will hurt you.

You can PM whomever with it. That's acceptable. That's not to say you can't post your email, but I'd advise against it. You never know who's lurking around these parts.

Actually he was using both a Silver Nitrate skin treatment topically and taking Colloidal Silver. The blue skin condition is extremely rare and only associated with chronic over users. Some morons out there figure that if a little is good then more must be better.

Well, It is easy to make..all you need is two troy ounce silver dollars, some sea salt, a gallon of distilled water and an old charging cord for a rechargeable drill (or something similar) and two alligator clips and two paper clips and a small glass...

1. Drill a small hole in each coin close to the edge
2. Bend paper clips to hold coins in the small glass opposite each other
3. Cut the end off the cord opposite end of where you plug in and split cord and wire alligator clips one to each end of split
4. Fill cup to just below paper clips with heated water with a little sea salt to conduct electricity
5. Hang coins with alligator clips attached opposite side of glass
6. Plug in and watch the silver peel off one coin and let this set 20-30 minutes
7. UNPLUG and pull coins, clips out and dump the now grey or light yellow water into rest of gallon jug of distilled water and shake.....

Take one ounce a day...will take a month or so to get but up in your system......it cured my fingers of arthritis and before I started taking I could not pop my knuckles and always had pain in my joints...after a few months pain gone and I can now pop my knuckles....and rarely get sick.......it does work for sure.......

Well... I've scarely found anything a little OXGALL wouldn't cure.

I like it in my shampoo.
I'm sure that has NOTHING to do with me still being single.

I agree...there are some reports of cancer being put in remission with it's use overseas.....the reason you do not hear about it is because it is a mineral and cannot be patented.....this stuff really works and can cure a bunch of things...arthritis, yeast infections, funguses, worms etc.....it kills 500 known pathogens in less that 5 minutes and has been called the rediscovered magical bullet by scientists......
