Convicted murderer Aaron Hernandez sentenced to life in prison without parole

Aaron Hernandez, the former star tight end for the New England Patriots, was sentenced to life in prison without parole after being convicted Wednesday of first-degree murder in the death of his fiancee's sister's boyfriend, who prosecutors say may have known too much about two previous killings in which Hernandez is a suspect.

The sentence is automatic. Just as in states with capital punishment, the appeals process is automatic, but Hernandez will continue to be housed in the Bristol County House of Correction where he has been since his arrest. Massachusetts is a commonwealth, and each county has its own prison.

Sad to see this happen as he played for two of my favorite teams(Florida and New England) and had a great future, but this is the price of stupidity.

I would only hope that, in prison, Hernandez will find GOD, period....otherwise, what a total wasted life that snuffed out other people's lives. Our tax dollars will help provide his daily needs now.

Maybe God will find him there, its God who finds the Lost Sheep, not the other way around.. noooo, thats a man centered salvation and Gospel, its Only God that can open his eyes, heart, spirit , mind to the Truth.. God finds His Lost sheep.. indeed! and He already knows mr hernandez's life from beginning to end.. Indeed..
