Howard Kurtz Commentary: Why Clinton's fundraising reform pitch is drawing flak
The hypocrisy police are jumping all over Hillary Clinton now that she is vowing to drive “unaccountable money” out of politics.
Her critics scoff at the notion that this wealthy one-percenter, who will probably obliterate the record for presidential fundraising in the 2016 cycle, is positioning herself as a champion of campaign finance reform.

Admittedly, she's forced to play the game the way it has always been played. Or is she? How about she and all the other candidates from both parties -- and the nearly inconsequential ones as well -- all agree not to let soft money, questionable money, or illegal money into their coffers?
Forget it. Never happen. Especially from the Clinton camp. They like the money too much.
I once read a science fiction story in which the leading qualification for a presidential or congressional candidate was not actually wanting the job.
Sounds good to me.
