Trump announces White House bid, joins crowded GOP field

New York real estate mogul and reality TV star Donald Trump on Tuesday declared himself a candidate for the Republican nomination for president, launching his against-the-odds campaign after teasing one for years.
His arrogance has already defeated him.

And the two minutes of his announcement speech I could stand to watch was the most gut-wrenching annoying ramble of nonsense and disjointed thoughts I think I've ever heard a man give.

I wouldn't get too worked up. Donald Trump does this like every presidential campaign only to drop out. It's almost like some sort of strange modern 21st Century American tradition.

Lol perchance there is the opportunity here to get Donald Trump vs Wakka Flocka for a 1 on 1 fantasy presidential debate.

Yes the man is full of arrogance and will not win, but at least he has stood up there and said pretty much what every other American has said at one point or another in their life, instead of use a prepared speech from somebody else.

Let's look at the points he touched on;

1) Bring back jobs from other countries instead of keep outsourcing them..............

2) Block the boarder by building a wall to keep illegal border crossings...........

3) Take ISIS full on by military force............

4) Make our military and weapons strong again............

5) Iraq is an unstable area that the U.S. should have never let get distabilized..........

6) Appeal Obamacare and put in a better insurance program for all Americans...........

7) Keep Medicaid/Medicare and Social Security (And keep government officials from sticking their dirty hands in them to get funds for other things)

8) Bring back our education system to be back to one of the better systems in the world again, instead of the failure it is now

9) Take the lobbyist full on who are more concerned with padding their pockets then the economy

10) Tax outsourced jobs when their product comes back into the country

Trump will not win because he has to many Republicans and Democrats who do not like him because of his arrogance, but I have just one question on the points Trump brought up.

What is wrong with doing any of them, because these do need to be done ????

He will go by the name of 'The Donald' instead of Mr. President.

I also just wanted to add on to point number 7 that Trump touched on to and that is;

7a) Not do away with Medicaid/Medicare and Social Security as half the Republican candidates running now and those of the past election such as Romney wanted to do......................

I have to admit the ideas are good...but the man seems to love himself too much? If he had to decide between saving the country and saving himself...I think we can all guess who would get saved :(

Amazing how 1 million people can watch the same speech, like I did, and come up with 1 million different conclusions. Personally, it all made sense to me..he is a business man, of wealth, trade and professionalism. He has taken big falls and chances...and does not need extra income for his personal pleasure. I guarantee you, unlike Obama and Michelle who had date nights and outtings that cost American's millions of dollars...that Trump would not slip the bill to us taxpayers. Besides..anything beats what we've suffered through in the Obama administration.

Big deal. He can parrot the top ten issues Americans want addressed. That does not mean that he is the one to address them, nor does it mean that he is qualified. Anyone can read a list.

I feel confident that EVERY person who runs for the presidency, regardless of their past, their personality, or their affiliations, is INSTANTLY transformed into a GLOWING SINLESS SAINT, by the power of the angels, the moment they throw their hat into the ring.

I'm sure none of them can do any wrong.

They have all become sinless and beyond reproach.

What a beautiful thing to behold.

With this amazing transformation that comes over all who run for the presidency, I doubt that mankind even needs the gospel anymore. All men, everywhere, should just run for office... and they'd all immediately experience this supernatural and transformative power.

Kinda makes me feel just a little bit sorry for old boy Jeb. Lol Jeb finally announces he's running and Donald Trump runs in and steals the spotlight from him. Oh man, GOP field is so hilarious to watch this year. Somewhere in America a grandma is laughing in her pantsuit.

I wouldn't call a flash-bang a spotlight.

It turns out my father loves Donald Trump. Mostly because Trump openly declares that he will stiff China and Mexico as well as improve the economy.

It's amazing to me he thinks he can accomplish an improved economy without China or Mexico. It is just indicative of his utter arrogance and complete stupidity.

What is truly disturbing is that Rupert Murdock must be this guy's best friend or something. Fox News has been uncharacteristically hyping this clown. They gave him eight drive-time minutes on F&F this morning, and have been running clips from the interview with Steve, Elizabeth, and Brian all day. I hope someone with an intellect goes to the Ivory Tower and asks Rupe if he knows what the hell he's doing.

By the way, did everyone see this?

I love it! Normally, I despise the Daily News, but they hit the nail on the head with that front page.
