Secretary Carter says US will provide weapons, aircraft, forces for NATO

MUNSTER, Germany – The U.S. will contribute weapons, aircraft and forces, including commandos, for NATO's rapid reaction force, Defense Secretary Ash Carter said Monday, to help Europe defend against security threats, including Russia from the east and violent extremists from the south.

Under the plan, the U.S. will contribute intelligence and surveillance capabilities, special operations forces, logistics, transport aircraft, and a range of weapons support that could include bombers, fighters and ship-based missiles. It would not provide a large ground force.

It's a start. It isn't enough, but it's a start.

And KennethC? No, this is not "you were right, I was wrong," because our disagreement last week concerned nukes, not conventional weapons. But you can count it a win if you want.

Well first of all I never said they were going to nuke Russia, as what I said and the article I posted as well as 2 other ones that I had posted later said that nuclear attacks were in the talks at the NATO meeting in Europe. I nor what I posted never said it was going to happen immediately, however with that being said any attacks on Russia Putin has already said he would automatically declare war against the U.S.

But still I mentioned conventional attacks as well as the nuclear attacks that was going to mentioned at the NATO meeting, so what I posted was correct as you are now seeing..........

I still say it is all a show as the current admin does not have the (jewels) to go to war with Russia and make no mistake...The Russian leadership and people have no problem with the amount of casualties that it would take to do it...The U.S. on the other hand and most Americans start crapping golden bricks when d-20 American soldiers get killed fighting for a just cause.......!
