The leftist are boldly showing off their rainbow flags. Some are celebrating. What happens is we stop buying their products and services? They so busy thinking this is a marketing shoe in, what about if they lose customers in bulk? It's worked before. Why not, and we have to tell them we give up buying. Market runs this country.

Boycotting apparently doesn't work as well as being "cool" and well-connected with lawyers.

This morning my FB page was filled with articles against this decision. Franklin Graham, Anne Graham Lotz, John Piper, etc, etc.

This evening, rainbows everywhere.

Except one good one. It was a rainbow with the bottom of it saying "God's promise to Noah after the ark." How they have taken the beautiful rainbow and destroyed the Biblical meaning!

I believe what atwhatcost is saying, don't buy anything from any of the companys
that support it.
I know that God will have the final say. So, for now, they can run around and try to
force us to accept, try is the key word. I will not accept it, and neither will most.
In the end, what have they won ? If they don't change their ways, a trip to hell
with no return.

?? I'm not sure how that works. Most company's are a mixed multitude, including Christians.
I remember a boycott here in So.Ca. back around '88 against the movie "The Last Temptation of Christ".
It aroused such a media hype that people went to see the movie just to see what all the Bru Ha Ha was about. The other wise C quality movie ended up making a ton of money. So be careful.

Disney, Google, Starbucks, Android. Those are the ones I've seen standing by the homosexuals.

Well Google was selling their phone with a commercial that originally included info about "Coming Out Day." Same commercial is happening, and yet that part disappeared from it. Something happened that made them realize there is another voice out here besides the sodomites.

I'm not suggesting closing down businesses. I'm suggesting maybe they ought to pay attention to where people draw the line. We do still draw lines, don't we?

They're not after you. They're after your kids and mostly your grandkids. It's working.

I'm only saying you have to be careful with Boycotts because the mainstream media (the 4th branch of gov't) has ways of turning it around and making the consevative boycotters to look like royal buffoons...and have the boycottees to shine with extra free advertisement.

Then you won't buy much of anything at all, because there aren't any companies out there offering mainstream products like cars, trucks, food, clothing, gadgets, etc., that aren't supporting it. If we're prepared to go without all those things, I guess we can do it. But I've never seen a boycott really work. There are never enough people actually boycotting for the offenders to get the message.

A Republican will win the desk in the Oval Office. I remember life under Jimmy Carter. I then remember when we were free to speak up under Reagan. The fourth branch of the government still caters to big business no matter how much they pretend they don't. If we can get some level of sanity back with big business, the fourth branch can't boast quite as loud. They've spent way too long indoctrinating children. So has the fifth branch -- public schools. Now those children have children.

I had a business. It didn't last long because my disability hit, but I learned quite a lot about marketing to prepare for it. Boycott might not even be necessary. Someone got Google to pull back from that commercial. It certainly wasn't out of the goodness of their hearts. We can effect that much change as a group effort.

Basic principle of marketing: Do a good job and only one out of 10 customers will let you know. Do something bad and that customer will tell all their friends. Bad publicity is businesses biggest fear. Word of mouth is needed. Every time one person writes to them, they know most won't. So if it's a good letter, it gets framed. If it's a bad letter, they assume nine others are thinking the same thing but never wrote them.

20 letters = 200 voices in their minds. It really does mean something, and the fourth branch need never know to put their own spin on it. (And if they find out, do the same thing to their boss, because he cares more than a reporter does.)

Caesar Chavez. Grapes. Grape workers. 1960's, Took 13 months, but it worked! You haven't seen any lately, because too many would rather just spend more money than worry about principles. We don't even have to carry signs or walk out in the heat. We've got computers. We got e-mail! They've got "contact us."

It was five years, 1965-70, and it was a court order sought by grape processors, not the acquiescence of the farmers, that brought an end to the strike and boycott and actually created the UFW. But the AFL-CIO doesn't like to print that little bit of irony: That it was the grape juice processors and winemakers, not the migrant workers, who "created" their union.

to be fair every major online/technology company supports gay marriage so using your computer might be the fist thing you have to give up.

I already do. Your point? If you're feeling guilty about that, feel free to act on it. Meanwhile, don't pretend I'm all PC. (I just don't do that, because I can't afford clothes. lol)

Then again, my idea stems from a simple principle. It's good marketing to promote a cause. Too many businesses are under the delusion that 4% of Americans speak for us all. If the bigger cause isn't that, poof! Suddenly that's not a good cause anymore.

I'm not out to fix labor issues in the world. I'm out to stop "mainstream" from thinking 4% should teach our kids that 4%ers are much more important than God, kids, or the real mainstream.

These giants would be affected like a pin in an elephants tail.
How about starting with the little guys first and have a 'trickle up' boycott?

Bahahaha! Good luck with your boycotts!
