Violet, I was just looking at them while driving home and was in awe. From my vantage point in New Jersey with peculiarly clean air this evening, you can actually see depth perception between the stars. Some flakes will say its an optical illusion, but I know what I saw and admired. :) Game on for the next eight days! :cool:

my sister lives outside the city. i bet it will look even better away from the city lights! ohhhh man :D

It is 9:30 here in Missouri, and the sky still is not quite dark enough for all the stars to shine yet but the moon is full and bright !!!

It was clear here in St. Pete, but I have to say that if someone had not brought this up, I wouldn't have noticed a thing. As it was, it seemed totally lackluster and "ho hum."

It's a bit cloudy here in Central Texas but Jupiter & Venus are shining bright as anything!! :D
