What are you going to do with your leap second? - BBC News

Have you thought about what you're going to do with your extra second?
The slightly odd rotation of the earth means that timekeepers are adding an additional tick to the last minute of the last hour of the last day of June. It's a tricky problem for computer programmers, but it seems many of us are wondering how exactly to use that bonus time.
The hashtag #LeapSecond has been used more than 7,000 times on Twitter in the past 24 hours. Some urged a moment of quiet reflection:

Kiss my wife ... but that will take longer than a second.

I don't have a wife...

guess I'll just go out and kiss a stranger.

Anyone care to bail me out of jail?

Too good, Max! Yeah, call me ... won't be the first guy to call me from jail at 2 AM (it'll take that long for 'em to process you and give you your phone call -- you and all the drunks).

Greenwich time. That's six here in the midwest. Add or subtract for each hour you're ahead or behind the Central Time Zone.

Or, if you have a Citizens Eco-Drive radio-controlled watch (I do), just park it on a countertop and let 2 AM CDT come and go, and it'll correct itself.

in one of the star trek movies, mr data, when thinking about having sex, with the borg woman. (if i remember correct , if it was her) said he thought for 1 . something seconds, and according to mr data, that a life times thought to a droid. lol

strange, yet to a fly, we move in slow motion, threw the eyes of a fly. how slow, do we move, against a 1 second computer thought, guess it would depend on how fast the computer is.
