Consider your wish granted, Crossnote. I think this past week has been an exercise in Orwellian newspeak.

Lust is "love."

Everything that is wrong with America is "Southern" or "Confederate."

Not really affordable, but take it anyway is "affordable."

Wait-listed is "care."

Stagnation is "act."

Justice is "chief activist."

And so on.

There are more than of few of us that are responsible for the "morphing." For years we argued against the ignorance of the term man made GLOBAL WARMING because it simply wasn't a supportable hypothesis. Our argument was, while there might be "climate change," as the climate is in a constant state of change, man made global warming is not a supportable hypothesis. After awhile, the "nuts" caught on to the logic of the argument, and "morphed" their silliness by adopting our ideas............sigh.......

We should have just stuck with laughing and pointing our fingers at them............

One clever thing about the "pro-choice" euphemism is that it takes the attention and emphasis off of the baby and puts it on the woman. It's all about her choice, and not about what happens to the poor child itself. As a result you can then frame it mainly as a feminist issue and turn the focus away from what is happening to the baby.
