A perfect example of john 15:18-22 The only problem the street preachers made was the fact they gave no escape,they only looked to bring guilt upon others,unlike Jesus.more like scribes and pharisees!( matt 15:1-11!!)

Why is this not a civil rights crime? These people was only having there free speech and was attacked by this mob of sodomites.

Not quite. Relisten to the video at the 45sec mark the news announcer included "Jesus saves from sin" as part of the message the preachers gave.

I'm sure the preachers' intentions were good, but you're right, sharks do bite, and they bite hard. Stay out of the water, folks, and shake the dust off your feet.

The ONLY POSSIBLE mistake I saw in the video that they MAY have made is by wandering through the crowd. They should have stayed in one spot near the edge of the crowd and let their signs do the talking.........but, then, they ALSO have the right to walk around just as the idiots were doing.

It's a shame it went like that.
I never understood the use of signs though, why can't we go and talk to people, get to know them, understand them and be personable? Holding a huge sign like that is quite imposing, obnoxious and just trying to get people to believe on your own strength and through the flesh. I mean, Jesus never went around just holding signs up telling people repent or burn, He actually engaged with people.

Actually if you look at the longer videos that show what proceeded the video above,it had already been getting bad before this. The confrontation was coming long before this,the street preachers were told to leave before it had gotten to that point. (I am not excusing what the people who started beating on them was doing,but I do have have to question the wisdom of staying in a place in which it was clear that this was the direction it was going to go,especially when the one gal even tells them that if they didn't leave the heavy set guy was going to do that and that was already some time after this whole thing really started)

When people are full of hate, going to talk to them, hugging and such and trying to get to know them on a personal level simply does not work. Jesus may not have had a "sign," but He SURELY told all He spoke to REPENT! And, He spoke far more about hell in His ministry than He did heaven.
