An amazing number of "natural causes" in such a short period of time.
Kinda what I was thinking, too.

One of them was the church that was bombed and burned during the rise of the KKK against civil rights in 1963.

Never a good thing........haters gonna hate.......but in the last several years there have been more than a few churches in Bama that have been vandalized and even torched........and many of them were churches where the congregation was predominately white.........

Same here. We have had satanic symbols spray painted on churches, and one Methodist church here had 70,000 dollars worth of damage don't to it a couple months ago. Does that make national news? No. That's ignored.

The churches I was talking about or what you posted about? What you posted said "predominately black". That kinda tells me it wasn't a "black church" but an interracial church and the media is stretching it to make it look like all the burnings were racist oriented(which could be, but hasn't been proven).

The churches in my town that have been vandalized are "predominately white".

Am I the only one who finds the idea that this is some coordinated assault of white supremacists rather absurd?

I've worked in the South quite a bit. There is something about this that seems off to me. Data is either being cherry-picked or somebody absolutely insane is trying to start something absolutely insane.

Either way, there has never been a better time to point out that in many southern localities churches are desegregating.

Yankees just don't get it.

Like maybe the Obama White House? Have to be careful. Can't say that "out loud."

........and the ones that are still all white OR all black, are so mainly due to logistics, and historical attendance/membership....families and such

The KKK gets all upset over the Confederate flag and suddenly 6 black churches are burned. What a coincidence

The Confederate Battle Flag is not as important to KKK iconography as one might think. If anything they've shown a greater fondness for Old Glory and different variations of our beloved cross.

While I was working out in TN, I met a couple Klan members. They were pretty much social outcasts though.
