The Episcopal Church House of Bishops have approved a resolution to change the definition of marriage in the canons so that any reference to marriage as between a man and a woman is removed.

Now that this abomination has been done by the Episcopal church, the question is how should Christians react? Should Christians use legal suits. legal suits can be filed against the Episcopal church because the bible forbids homosexuality and this means that if the Episcopal church want to keep using the name of Jesus Christ then they must adhere to the teachings of Jesus and the bible otherwise they can be sued for misrepresenting Christianity. Another way Christians can react is through violence. Should Christians take up arms and go after the Episcopal church? The violence option
will be wrong because Christians should not be violent. Another option
is to boycott the Episcopal church and formal church.
The type of worship we have today where we go to church on Sundays to listen to a so called pastor or bishop who may be evil people pretending to be Christians is what I mean by formal worship. The church does not necessarily have to be a physical building where people go to listen to a so called pastor or a bishop on Sundays instead the church is in the heart of the true christian .
The Formal type of worship that currently exists is an advantage to false pastors and false christian sects like the Episcopal church. The Christian church is not a physical building instead the Christian church is the creation of new Christians through preaching on streets, to your
friends and to your
neighbor.
Therefore why not stay at home
on Sundays and boycott the Episcopal church and if possible the entire formal church? By so doing the Episcopal church will lose credit

The Episcopal church have gone against the teachings of the bible by permitting same sex marriages. This action
by the episcopal church constitutes libel and defamation. The most effective option
Christians should take now is the legal option
. Christians are urged to sue the Episcopal church before these evil people get to Christians door steps. After this evil action by the Episcopal church the only thing left for the corrupt church of today to do is to declare allegiance to the devil. Are you just going to sit down and let that happen? God needs you to fight his fight. Evil prevails when good people do nothing. Come out Christians in your multitudes and go after the Episcopal church for blasphemy. If you don't fight the Episcopal church you are committing a sin and you will be judged. If you don't fight the Episcopal church the corrupt Christian church of today will declare allegiance to the devil. You must not give in to evil and neither must you be a coward. Don't just sit down and do nothing after reading this article, sue the Episcopal church. You don't have to be a lawyer
to file a case, sue the Episcopal church and fight evil. God needs you to fight his fight.

No Christian I know considers the episcopal church a real Christian group...all the real Christians have already left. Its kinda like the Mormons or Jahovahs witnesses ..

That entity that has repudiated God's Word stands no longer as Christ's Church.
Most likely they have denied large parts of God's Word long ago.
Part of the apostate church.

ok so hold on you come on here and you want me to sue this church but not only that if I don't then I am sinning not only that if I don't I am declaring allegiance to the devil?

I have seen a lot of ppl come on here and spam their agendas but this one has got to be the most disturbing, how very Christ like of you to come here and demand that attack this church or else we are sinning and we are taking allegiance to the devil. I don't take action because man tells me to I take it when God says too and buddy he has told me no such thing

A couple of points.

Maybe I missed the post about how evil baptist churches are and how we should boycott/sue them all because of the actions of Westboro Baptist Church.

Oh wait, I didn't. There was never a post like that.

The sect being referenced is ECUSA (Episcopal Church USA), who have been known to be liberal regarding social issues ever since rogue bishops started ordaining women in the 70s (against the specific teachings of the church).

However, ECUSA is not the only sect of Episcopalianism in the United States. So, it seems a lot like propaganda to cut and paste this stuff and not adequately inform people regarding the group involved.

It's also interesting to me how people focus on certain sinful behaviors re: church groups and maybe not others. For example, I've not read posts about how we boycott all the churches that allow for pastors to divorce and remarry. Nor have I seen any posts about how we should mount protests against the wide varieties of denominations that ordain women.

Additionally, the idea that we should abandon "formal church" in favor of some home meeting is clearly the ultimate agenda of the speaker. And if that works for him, mazel tov.

Personally, I don't get how home churches are the magical unicorn of fellowshipping since they are as subject to corruption and human interpretation as any other group.

Interestingly enough there's quite a few conservative Episcopal branches that don't let women become priests and teach that homosexuality is a sin. A lot of conservative Episcopal churches left and became their own church after the loonies in charge of the main church started to force crazy, overly liberal garbage on everyone else. What's funny is that the membership in the Episcopal church has dropped like a stone since they decided to ordain gays, but the one place membership has risen has been in the Episcopal churches in South Carolina, which actually withdrew from the main Episcopal church due to the gay issue.

After we sue the Episcopalians I suppose we can sue start suing the Mormons.

Given the U.S. Supreme Court just "approved" of gay marriage, I'm not sure the Episcopal Church doing so means "war" or "the end is near" more so that that decision does.

We are not under any obligation whatsoever to "fight" an apostate church. Our responsibility is to share with them the truth of Jesus Christ, in love.

If you don't fight the Episcopal church then the Anglicans will also approve same sex marriages, after which the Catholics will also approve same sex marriages, after which some protestant churches will also approve same sex marriages. And if Christians still don't fight back then the corrupt church will declare allegiance to the devil. you have been warned... fight the episcopal church, sue the episcopal church for defamation.

I think it's great. So now when the homosexuals want to get married in a church, we just send them to the nearest EPISCOPAL CHURCH!

Real Christians are not surprised that everyone that calls themselves Christians are not...If someone tries to force us to join this church or approve its errors...then you will see some real resistance. Its often a good thing when light and darkness are separated and the differences can be seen. In fact this is kinda good for the real churches, because those who leave the false church and false groups will be looking for the real.

I agree completely. True Christians will reject the Church of Law in favour of the Church of Love. I applaud the Episcopalians and other churches who are acting to end centuries, even millennia, of error and persecution. Christianity in its long history has not always been on the right track. It is now. Let us pray that the haters do not again reassert their oppression.

Ro 1:32 who, knowing the righteous judgment of God, that those who practice such things are deserving of death, not only do the same but also approve of those who practice them.
