When God cursed the serpent in the garden he sentenced it to a life of crawling on it's belly which seems to indicate that it had legs before the curse.....well they have found a snake fossil which had four legs....interesting hey....anyway...I hope the link comes thru....and found it interesting...

Looks like a centipede to me. Looks like they were pretty subjective in calling it a "snake," too.
