I think what he's implying is that our society is setting a new benchmark by its acceptance of the homosexual lifestyle. It's not that this sin is any worse than any other sin per se, but no sin should be accepted in a society. Because then the sin becomes "okay" and no longer a sin in our eyes.

One of my all time favorite computer games has a lesbian couple in it. I just have to sigh and accept it as something I don't like within something I do like. It's a sad reality but that doesn't mean I need to avoid everything that might have an unsavory agenda if that's not its sole purpose (and indeed, this game's story did not center on the couple in question, that was a side story).
