Hey brothers and sisters good morning! Not to be an alarmist but it might not be a bad idea to prepare a bit. Food, medicine, anything else you think you and perhaps your neighbors might need. There is a serious crash going on in the global markets, among obvious other global problems. This could be a HUGE evangelisim opportunity!!

This has been prophesied months ago and things are already happening and it's not even 9-13-2015. I've been in prayer over this seeking God's Wisdom for preparation. Hopefully others are aware that this is real, regardless of what happens by September.

Yeah, like God provided Noah with the ark.

Oh wait... God didn't provide Noah with an ark... He just told Noah to prepare one. Good thing Noah didn't have that 'God will save me' mentality.

He also had Pharaoh and Joseph prepare for seven years of famine. In my case, I'm barely surviving anyway, so I wouldn't even notice a difference if the whole world collapsed. lol. Sad, but pretty much true.

I was thinking moreso like how God provided for the widow of Zarephath, her son, and Elijah in a time of famine. God does provide and God does save.

The funny thing is.... is that the people buying the stuff that the pepper sites are peddling will be the first ones.. paid a night time visit. Lol..... If all of what they are saying comes to fruition.

Wise men shall see evil coming and PREPARE for it<----In the bible! And example after example found where preparation took place ahead of schedule so as to preserve physical as well as spiritual LIFE.....such examples as...

1. Noah before the flood
2. 7 years of plenty before 7 years of famine
3. God reconciling the world unto himself before the world is cast down

etc.

True, but in all those instances God did foretell and thus provided a way to prepare. God also provides in tough times for those not worldly prepared many times in the Bible. Though I suppose one could say they prepared their hearts to believe.

Examples:

1. Elijah being fed by ravens in the wilderness
2. God sending manna from heaven and quails to the children of Israel in the wilderness
3. Jesus feeding the multitudes.

“A prudent person foresees the danger ahead and takes precautions. The simpleton goes blindly on and suffers the consequences.”


Proverbs 21:20 “The wise store up choice food and olive oil, but fools gulp theirs down.”

Another verse that sums things up nicely.

1 Timothy 5:8 (NIV)

“If anyone does not provide for his relatives, and especially for his immediate family, he has denied the faith and is worse than an unbeliever.”

I agree for sure, but that does not alleviate the statement made about wise men seeing evil and preparing for it....God gives his children insight and wisdom to see the possibilities of what lies on the horizon....and prepare for it!

Never said it did abrogate that verse nor have I said not to prepare. My point is don't fret and panic. God shall provide either directly or shall provide a way for us. Consider the ravens, consider the lilies.

Luke 12:23-28

Hmm? What became of the preppers in 1929? How about 2007? Do you think they ran out of food yet?

As for evangelizing opportunities? Ever notice the lack of revivals when a big catastrophe hit?

You've lived through as many recessions as I have. Did you ever need to prep for them before? What's different?

We crashed and burned during the minor one in 2002. Not because of the economy, but because of our health going south. No job. Very little savings. Not enough money to make the repairs needed on our house, but, gee whiz? God's still taking care of us. Why today to stop trusting God?

Meanwhile, your neighbors down the street may not have enough for today.

Matthew 10:29 Are not two sparrows sold for a penny? and not one of them shall fall on the ground without your Father:30 but the very hairs of your head are all numbered.

Of course it was prophesied months ago. I can do this too. We're headed for a recession, but then it gets better. We'll elect a Republican. The market takes a down turn but then rises in two years after he is elected. By the time he leaves office, the economy is downward.

This isn't prophecy. This is history. What happens in January when we realized nothing major happened because September 13th showed up?
