Sirk,
Were you with the circus, too? I miss those days.
I didn't travel with a circus per say but growing up we did train animals and tried diligently to kill ourselves seeking excitement. Lol

I seem to remember reading a story about kids getting sick at Yellowstone. Anyone else read/see this report?

That was when I was on security...they needed an undercover security guard....went well until the elephant started squeaking because it accidentally got into my helium filled balloons. :p

Really? That is cool.
Kind of cool. We did a lot of traveling, and met all sorts of people we would not have met if we had stayed in our "establishment" jobs. But it is hard work. Lots of 15 hour days and boring road time in a truck. But we did make some VERY serious money.

We weren't with an actual "circus" either. We had an independent food stand, and booked fairs, festivals, music concerts, air shows, boat shows, and even once, a Steam Engine Festival.

We visited Yellowstone Park about 3 years ago and loved it! I just ignore people when I go to places like that.

I read a neat book called "Supervolcano" by Harry Turtledove. It was about what would happen to the world if the volcano under Yellowstone decided to blow up. Not Christian, but very interesting.
