I'm posting this here as it refers to the news and also in a bid to avoid the BDF!

I need to vent! Just been watching Sky News (shakes head) why when speaking about the pope is he referred to as "the church" - the pope is not the church, he is a man - the leader of the Roman Catholic Church - one branch of the church, he does not represent "the church". Also why are we told the church has to change to fit into 21st century? No! God's word never changes, it says in His word He is the same "yesterday, today and forever". We'd all be a lot better off if the 21st century changed to fit in with God's word - it's why the world is in such a mess - because we have forgotten (or ignored) God's word. For the oldies among us; look back to how life was in your country when most of the population were looking to The Higher Authority to guide them in their everyday life - how much better off were we??? The secular mind is warped, living for self and what pleases self. They have this "live and let live" mindset. If only they knew how wrong they are - how convicted they are.

I don't like how the world is becoming, I feel I don't belong in it. I don't understand the way man thinks, they want to change God, they cannot. He is what He is. They are right in one way the 21st century does need to change - we need to do a 180 degree turnaround and get back to God.

Well when I have concern for Gods message being damaged and the World going into senseless blindness, I grab my pillow and hit the crude out of it.

I think it's fun and therapeutic at the same time...smile. Then I refocus and get my Spiritual truth ducks back in a row in prayer. Over time I have stopped hitting the pillow more and more.

Concern for the world needs to parallel Gods spiritual truths which states the world is not to be loved, but the people in it should be-unconditionally!. But not their sins along the way.Your concerns are ultimately the people I'm sure but we spend time in tragic mode for the worlds systems without cause sometimes. For God has given us insight to the plight of the worlds end, and we should adjust our focus in that direction.. The world won't get better. People in it can. This is the recalibration part in scripture we must be made into..

Our eyes need to not wallow in the lost that cannot be regained; or ineffectual worry, but in the life of victory you now have to allow those individuals into His Kingdom, Have a concern for their loss, not the worlds condition. "Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged, for the Lord your God will be with you wherever you go." Joshua 1:9. [go]= get the future Saint not the world as a whole.

"Do not love the world or anything in the world. If anyone loves the world, love for the Father is not in them!" 1 John 2:15.

Our concerns that are not wasted are not in the concerns of this world but the glory seen in us when God is to be revealed by reconciling all people unto Himself....in other words live like your on the winning team, and bring everyone on the other side you can thru Gods supernatural love. Pity for the sinful world position is useless, don't get me wrong I still like punching pillows ...smile. But I shift quicker and quicker to Gods balanced center on the issue these days.

"I consider that our present sufferings are not worth comparing with the glory that will be revealed in us." Romans 8:18. This is my reconsideration.

"If you belong to the world, it would love you as it's own. As it is, you do not belong to the world, but I have chosen you out of the world. That is why the world hates you." John 15:19. The world is foolish and it is also sinful, we need to deal with those on the sinful plan that live in a foolish world that is full of sin.. God has, Himself, laid the line in the sand of concern for us to have. Not in the worlds salvation, but in individual Salvation. All individuals.

Jude 23: Rescue others by snatching them from the flames of Judgment. Show Mercy to still others, But do so with great caution hating the sins that contaminate their lives."

So we are to love the world thru the simplicity of human lives. Thru Gods lost Children, not a world order. Or even the United States. We are to honor God by our integrity to honor our nation, and its laws, showing Gods character in it. This is not Satans strength speaking, as we honor a ungodly rule, as long as it doesn't violate Gods decrees it is Gods choice and plan of glory speaking, yet again to the world order.. The worlds hope is lost, the hope of the world has turned to the persecution of the Holy things of God.. The lost souls are protected by God thru the hope of Jesus Christ however.. I see why Jesus didn't become the president or king or whatever the leader position of the day. Politics are not the government of God it is the government of Satan. The representation of condemnation, and false- hope from death. No need to pity that.

We can affect individuals and the laws of our land for those in democratic governments, but we can't change the being of the spirit of the world. The original sin story applies here. And it is to get worse toward apostasy not better, for sin has a direction in motion always.. while God's spirit moves steadfastly victoriously the opposite direction in our lives toward perfecting us. Not in need of gaining any new ground leaves us in complete peace.

, So we need to fight absolutely, in the spiritual warfare of life! But for the fruitful efforts not the fruitless ones.Don't stop honoring God by honoring the rules of this government, unless it directly goes against Gods decrees, but do it for the showing of Gods powerful integrity in loves demeanor.God will hold governments in His accountabilities, and their leaders. But also be encouraged that we can change laws and candidate representations, God has offered governments that are theocratic in nature by His decree of control Historically. But in the overall victory in government is not the message of the gospel; Jesus Christ is.

God has told us, that in this world Satan has come down to rule "woe to mankind....." So God has answered it all but not by way of this world, are we to ignore overwhelming proof of this? No! Are we to respect our old house? NO! we have had all things old detached and all new things have come into our lives in real new hope of things to come in Jesus Christ.

God has placed His victory in Jesus, not the hope of repair of the world. The earth is His,, nothing evil of the planet.. But the world is the evil of the premise of it's government. A government set up by man and ruled by Satan's rule over the rule of man.

God loves His people. And has empowered us to gain them to Himself thru discipleship reconciling people to Himself thru the holy Spirits work in us.. It seems like the small plan compared to Satans overwhelming condemnation grand plans. This impressive play Satan impresses us with will be the end days power of influence. Yet the Lamb not the wolf has won the battle. "Power is as power shows", So be patient and you will see the fireworks of Gods power in the end. didn't Forrest Gump say that first part? .......Smile.

Wickedness is growing and darkness is blinding the minds of more and more...don't give up...we know its coming but we are never told to stop the good fight In fact seeing things getting worse only makes me want to fight harder
