Yes, some website in Penn. predicted that things would absolutely come to an end yesterday. I passed on it. I need to get myself better before Jesus returns.

Wait, if he returns, he will make me better! I don't have to "save" myself!

Yes this is Friday 8 October here. If someone predicts it every day it will be right eventually but it might take until doomsday.

Even a broken clock is right twice a day... which is actually a much higher success rate than those claiming doomsday have had!

Since Jesus has said we can Not know the day and/or [the same conjunction is used both ways] the hour; any attempt to predict is an attempt to discredit Jesus. In Mat 24, and Luk 21 Jesus gave clues whereby we can recognize the 'season' but we are told we will not know specifics. Therefore any attempt to name a day is inherently disobedient.
