This happened here in my hometown, right in front of the courthouse. I don't know why this is being reported. I guess they are trying to keep it quiet. After an assault case was dismissed because the other party decided not to press charges, a police officer said appropriate words to the mother of the accused. When she replied with some nasty words of her own, the officer then assaulted her, slamming her face against the concrete and injuring her to the point that she had to be airlifted. She wasn't under arrest and there was no reason for this officer to put his hands on her. What really burns my biscuits is that when rogue cops do things like this, it cost us hard working tax payers money in lawsuits.... if I were a judge, I would have this officer for doing community service for pretty much the rest of his life to pay back the money he just cost taxpayers in this lawsuit that is about to occur.

This is what is called a situation of revenge. The police do a great work, try driving at a High speed risking your life to catch someone who is deranged or on the way to destroy his life and others. The mother in bitterness, brought this on. The officer was trying to be in an appropriate manner, and was in align in his words. What happened next was retaliation of words. No it's not correct to slam abuse, this is just what you call lose of control on both sides, th, and what is needed now is the light, love and leading of the Lord, because of the iniquity of these days, discernment, where this thing is coming from, but it is a very unhealthy scenario that unfolded. The police could be under digress, in prisons these people are subjected in cages or behind bars, it is different on the streets, they are doing a great service to our Town and yours if you read the arrests, compared to faults of being under this kind of pressure you will Thank the Lord for them and your own safety. Pray for your town and Ty for sharing this they need prayer also. It says pray for them in Authority over you, there's a reason for this.:)

Actually my wife sued Fulton PD over this same officer. He came to Union City after Fulton fired him. So my question would be why did Union City hire him when they already knew he was a law suit liability. When police officers do these kinds of things and cost taxpayers money through lawsuits, they should be held accountable

I don't have an answer for this, but maybe he has a good lawyer, there's all kinds of apples in the store, yellow red Macintosh green apples and there all called apples, so don't let one or the others ruin the basket. God bless you.

A cop assaults someone causing them to be air-lifted and its not being reported? Call the local news.

Dude653,

If this has not been reported, how did you hear about it?

I have a question for Dude653. How do you expect any of us to comment on a story you appear to tell with no links? Did you witness the assault? I'm new to this site and I've commented on a lot of secular news sites and the first rule seems to be if you don't have links, you are likely making it all up. Help us out here. I tried searching the internet and you didn't provide enough information for me to enter into a search. When did this happen? Where did it happen? What are the names of those involved?

There is no link to post because it was not reported by the media. I assume they are trying to keep it quiet.

Then you are discussing heresay with no factual evidence. I asked you where and when this happened. Post that information up and I could at least contact the police department involved and ask them for their version. As it is, this is like me stating my neighbors are creeps and giving you my reasons. It all could be true. On the other hand, it could be all about me having and ax to grind.

You must understand the news media does not cover up stories of police officers attacking civilians. Never has. They love stories like the one you told. The alleged victim would run straight to the media as soon as they left the hospital and filed a police report and discussed strategy with an attorney. The trying to keep it quiet line doesn't pass the smell test.
