Adacia Chambers: Oklahoma Parade Crash Was ‘Intentional’ Claims Court, But Judge Grants Mental Illness Evaluation

So a mentally ill woman intentionally rams a crowd of parade-goers, killing four people. She has a history of mental illness and the court orders an evaluation.

They are forgetting the obvious problem- cars.

Why do we allow people to by these infernal and dangerous machines without background checks?

The potential for high speeds and loud engine sounds clearly highlights their destructive potential to the mentally ill.

Think of all the people too who die in car accidents every year? How do we not know the cars themselves make people mentally ill when they get behind the wheel.

I can tell you that an interstate and six cylinder engine turn me from Ben Carson to Donald Trump in four seconds.

And you know what, I tell my girlfriend all the time, that if she wants to get from place to place, she doesn't need one of those scary modern contraptions. She could grab a bike off the rack of maybe ride a horse. Can you get a dui on a horse? No!

A horse slamming into your average crowd would likely have resulted in fewer fatalities.

Those of you who would selfishly keep their cars do not understand the contagion you unleash.

I blame computer and console games, would not be surprised if she played Grand Theft Auto and Carmagedon.

The chances are greatly diminished even where it is legally possible. Mostly because the horse knows where home is.

You may have a jeep if it isn't four wheel drive and sits two inches off the ground.

One doesn't have to ban all cars to want sensible car control and safety Sir Desdichado.

If you want to ban the 1 ton death machines by all means I won't stand in your way. Been hit by a car myself all ready, albeit I was on a bicycle so I wasn't exactly standing. Sometimes I feel as if #BANCARS may not be that bad of an idea, but alas it is too idealistic for the here and the now, just like with guns. Though I do believe the cars shall all rust and be turned to dust one day. Perhaps not far away in time either.

Seeing that America is so beholden to the automobile, to get rid of the car or its ability to be driven negligently or to malfunction will not happen even under the most favorable and honest of ideals simply by the everyday reality of living in a fallen world at a particularly hectic time. However, how can we then sit back and mock and testify against ourselves in full knowledge that indeed the car is a fallible, unstable, killing machine? It's not a new killing machine either, but one from before we were born. So aye we must fight against and subdue or destroy the machine.

Frankly though if you really want to sell #BANCARS bust out the H card right off the skip. Henry Ford is rumored in the historical lore to be the only American that Hitler admired. Real curious the origin of these objects that seem to be made as death machines and traps to even their owners throughout history.

In fairness on the highway system though, that was AFTER the elders and ancients were granted by God victory over the Nazi and conquered them.

Kinda surprised neither you or I yet brought up the Volkswagen, but that's just too easy I guess.

Not much coincidence a lot of tech comes from the Nazis and Japanese even. Americans have always been fans of that remix. Yet so much of that technology has proven to be such a curse. From the rockets to the atomic bomb. Even the space program was spearheaded by a Nazi.

It's hard in our time and place with all these problems. Though lose not heart in the war against the machine. We're very free with many God given more powerful spiritual tools from God like wisdom and love and strength to fight back against carnal tools used for negligence and wanton violence. The problem isn't really the people, it's trying to save them from themselves and each other.
