Uhhh...but that's their constitutional right. Non Christians have rights in this country too._ people can worship Mickey Mouse for all I care. I know who my God is. As long as they are minding their own business and not hurting anyone then what is the problem?

Well... the thing is, we know they're going to hell. That is a big problem.

Maybe so but that is there right as well. I don't agree with Catholicism but you don't see me protesting them because that is their constitutional right

Let me see if I can find the interview with a local pastor. It has a similar but different view as you Dude. And I agree that protesting is probably not the way.

No we don't protest. But we can't really just sit either. Civil disobedience isn't protesting or is it? Yet that's what most martyrs have done so we can have the bible.

I mean the point is, of course we don't go out there and slander these people. That's not what God called us to do anyway. We'll have to find a way to lead them to Christ! Which presents another problem: we need manpower.

It's good to be aware of this at least, so we know what surrounds us and know what we can add to our prayer list.

I do think that Dude has a point about protesting. In someways, I think that protesting will actually encourage more people to be curious and want to try out the cult, because it's forbidden. And we do have a law in the US of freedom of Religion. It's always been that way here. And from what I've been told, a lot of the protesters were not necessarily spewing out love, but hatred. However, we do need to pray that they will turn away from this and learn to know the True God.

Dude, I also think that this cult could easily become a gateway into full blown Satanism. Especially since they are using a lot of the symbols of the Satanic Cult. Which is why we do need to be on guard. Not protesting, but praying and sharing the Love of God.

It's all in how you approach people. I had a similar opinion about those creatures who got beat up at the Gay Pride rally. When you are confrontational with people and then they will immediately become defensive with you and you will get nowhere. Don't come to them with an attitude that you're angry with them just because they are doing something that you don't believe in.

Yes, I have to agree. That will only be the most effective thing to do.

And Christians have the constitutional right to spread the Gospel.

Making a "battle" is not the way, but being there to spread the Gospel is a great thing.

The apostles didnt sit around saying "meh, they have their legal rights to worship whatever the feel like", and neither did Christ :p Its a great thing to go out and spread the word, and hopefully find one person who will listen. If we dont do that, then who would ever receive His grace?

We are called to spread the Gospel, sharing it with others who have it is /not/ spreading it :p You have to share it with people who do not yet have it.

If Christians would take the time to learn what "Luciferianism" actually is,
they'd realize it isn't some secretive thing occurring behind the doors of this weird church,
but rather, it is something quite prevalent, and ALREADY embedded deeply in our culture.

We have much bigger concerns than this tiny Church of Lucifer in Texas.

Protesting this church is like walking up to a cancer patient,
scraping a VISIBLE sore off the OUTSIDE of his hand,
and then feeling like you accomplished something.

They are not doing something that you don't believe in. Scientologists are doing something that you don't believe in. They are doing something that is entirely antagonist to what a christian believes and it is done to hurt and mock sensitive christians.

I see satanists as big jokers that you shouldn't waste time on.

Not only they choose to, but apparently they have the constitutional right to do so.

If I start a group that insults Jewish or Muslim religions, I am pretty sure that police and media would be knocking at my door...

While it's true that people have freedom of choice, I think we could & should do a better job of showing them what they really have to choose from..... jus' sayin'.
