What really motivates Islamic violence?

There's peaceful Muslims of course, but, for the most part, Islam is a confused religion without a purpose or message or direction, obsessed with meaningless religious legalism, oppressing women, and with destroying anyone who opposes them, even their own people or themselves, like the devil is obsessed with delusional destruction. Even ancient Judaism's religious laws pointed to fulfillment of the law in the Jewish Messiah, and the law of grace, love and mercy. If Islam and the Q'uran is followed to it's logical conclusion, and God knows they take it seriously, the logical result is idolatry, spiritual blindness, legalistic bondage, and violence. The attackers in France were not terrorists, they were acting as true Muslims and Islamic jihad is actively supported by tens of millions of Muslims and tens of millions more through their silence, because it's at the core of their religion.

Legalism dies hard. Even after the Apostle Paul was converted from religious legalism through a dramatic encounter with Christ after His ressurrection, and worked tirelessly as one of the greatest heroes of Christianity to teach that Jesus came to save us from this, 2000 years later, even many of us as Christians are still obsessed with legalism including even Pentecostals, Baptists and Catholics, and even state justice is obsessed with legalistic atonement of sins. That's why knowing Jesus has to begin with the free-gift of Christmas...

I'm a bit confused on the origins of the grant list, specifically numbers 6 and 7... I am somewhere between horrified and quite fascinated by the intentions of these people and don't know whether to even call them ISIS anymore, can we label them as extremists??

He was coming into Canada: it was Canadian customs' officials who apprehended his teaching materials under suspicion they were hate speech, when in reality all it was, is teachings on what the Koran teaches. It was subsequently all returned to him, and no charges were laid against him. Good thing, too, for he does not promote hatred at all, simply exposes Islam for what it is. When this happened, almost two years ago, I reported it on the site where I was talking mostly to non-believers, and they did not believe me LOL. Apparently, anything a Christian says to an atheist has to be false, after all, no matter what it is.

It is true that Mohammed was illiterate, and that no doubt contributed to his inability to attain any proper grasp of what Scripture actually teaches, though we know that is also impossible without the Holy Spirit of God, which Mohammed was also lacking.
