I thought Russian hardware was far superior to US hardware....especially against US hardware in the hands of 3rd world pilots. This could get ugly in a hurry.

This could be a real issue?

Jet was shot down over Syria. Turkish airspace crossed was only 2 km; probably took about 9 seconds. Very bad move on Turkey's part.

Area in Syria Russia was bombing is infested with Al Queda that Turkey supports. Turkey doesn't want the border sealed so that it can continue the war in Syria through its proxies (ISIS, etc).

Turkey gets 60% of its natural gas from Russia. Lot of Russian tourism there. Russia could cripple Turkey economically.

WWIII....Started by Turkey. I seriously wouldn't have seen that coming lol.

Hopefully Russia will be graceful about the situation since there is some confusion as to what happened.

World War 3 started years a go. This is the oven finishing its pre-heating.

America was told not to go up to this war. Russia was forewarned about the fire. Many nations are thrust into the oven and some will come out of it cooked to be devoured and some will be burnt to ashes to be scattered.

Many people, but America stops her ears for her pride and is seduced by the warmonger to enter the oven. She has been basted and calls it a shower. She has been plucked and prepared by warmongers and calls them her friends. They have shoved her into the oven and she says "nay, but I go to fight with the yams".

America, Russia, Europe, Iran, Turkey, and the true followers of Islam called the Islamic State; are they not all in the same seething kettle called Syria? The pot is crowded and they jostle into one another as the broth starts to simmer.

This is pretty. I like word pictures. Someone is gonna make peace when it appears to be too late. Meanwhile, the real invasion goes on unencumbered.

More like the lovey doveys who pressured us out of Iraq. Since then your man OB not only left Iraq vulnerable but aided regime change in Egypt, Libya and Syria.
Failed policies is no excuse. Perhaps we should steer clear of the M.E. while we have a bunch of dunderheads running the W.H.

Some talk that this was retaliation for Russia destroying 1000 oil tankers. Apparently, Edrogan's son runs the oil smuggling business with ISIS. I think one of his daughters is, or wants to be, married to an ISIS leader.

It is not too late for America to escape the oven of war just yet with only a loss to her pride and some minor scorches. If she will leave the war then let her go in peace, but if she will not, let it stand for a testament against her.
