This is currently unfolding across town from me. Four officers have been confirmed to have been shot.

At this time it is still an active shooting scene, and has been for over five hours. Although the police area not even speculating as to the motivation behind the shooting, I'm sure that when this is all said and done I'm sure the shooter will get labeled as a "right wing Christian radical."

It hasn't been officially confirmed yet, but the local news station is reporting that the gunman has been "detained"

Well, it's officially confirmed that the shooter is in custody, (apparently he surrendered) but I'm sure they won't release much other information for a couple of hours since it will take law enforcement quite some time to process the crime scene.

I wonder if his wife/girlfriend/SO went there to get an abortion and this was his trigger.

Or maybe he was just frustrated over the death of so many unborn children? Or, maybe he saw the recently released videos of what PP is really about?

Sad for the people involved for sure!

Now official reports, 5 officers shot and 6 civilians. Fortunately as of now no one has died.

At this point law enforcement isn't speculating about motivation or even if Planned Parenthood was the original intended target since the shooting started outside behind the building.

Yep, inb4 CNN creates a false narrative - which they are known for doing:
CNN Correspondent Collaborated with Hillary Clinton Team to Denigrate Rand Paul

It's a sad situation, but they will love using this to paint the pro-life movement as violent. Wikipedia is filled with this hyperbole, dedicating an entire page to Anti-Abortion Violence, yet never mentioning the attacks on peaceful pro-life protesters that takes place outside clinics.

Everyone knows it's only okay to paint Muslims and Mexicans with a broad brush, not Christians.

Prayers for the family of the Officer who died, and prayers for all those wounded............

I was thinking as I watched, and wondered: Would this guy be labeled a Radical Christian Terrorist?

The last I had heard was they weren't reporting any casualties but after I read this I rechecked local news sources and see that a University of Colorado at Colorado Springs officer and one civilian are confirmed dead.

Edit: The Washington Post has a more recent article (five minutes ago) claiming one officer and two civilians dead

The cognitive dissonance you suffer from prevents you from seeing that the MSM will paint Christians all day long as extremist a-holes but when it comes to any other group we walk on egg shells trying not to offend them.

Whatever the motivations for these murders were, I completely and wholeheartedly condemn this act of violence. It is never okay to kill innocent people....the irony of it is that none of us are innocent. We all have the blood of Jesus on our hands and Jesus would never condone what this man has done..for any reason.

Somehow we seem to attract crazy transplants. Preliminary reports are that the shooter was from North Carolina albeit local law enforcement isn't even confirming the name that is floating around the news yet. If you recall, James Holmes of the Aurora theater massacre was also a transplanted grad student from California.
