Legal fight over Kentucky's same-sex marriage ban could cost taxpayers $2.3 million | Lexington Herald-Leader....

in the state of Kentucky, in a civil rights case, the losing party must pay the winners court costs.....so now Kentucky taxpayers get to split the bill for just over 2 million ...thanks Kim Davis
Funny the article never brought up her name, so why did you?
If you want to blame anyone why not blame the ungodly legislatures for passing such an ungodly law?

Lots of things are unGodly but that doesn't give us the right to make them illegal

Psalm 1

1 Blessed is the man that walketh not in the counsel of the ungodly, nor standeth in the way of sinners, nor sitteth in the seat of the scornful.
[SUP]2 [/SUP]But his delight is in the law of the Lord; and in his law doth he meditate day and night.
[SUP]3 [/SUP]And he shall be like a tree planted by the rivers of water, that bringeth forth his fruit in his season; his leaf also shall not wither; and whatsoever he doeth shall prosper.
[SUP]4 [/SUP]The ungodly are not so: but are like the chaff which the wind driveth away.

[SUP]5 [/SUP]Therefore the ungodly shall not stand in the judgment, nor sinners in the congregation of the righteous.
[SUP]6 [/SUP]For the Lord knoweth the way of the righteous: but the way of the ungodly shall perish.

You can't serve two masters Dude and God says, even avoid the appearance of evil. Kim did the right thing.

Praise the Lord Dude that it has cost the state for the sins of many. Most people don't believe in God anyway...God did tell us that our sins are the wages of death. Death includes allowing Satan to eat away their monies also..to bring suffering..bring attention to the way they are living and open their eyes to God. What did Samuel tell the people when they wanted a king to lead them instead of God?..What happen to the people because they wanted a worldly king?...So why grumble...u are looking at this from a human perspective rather than a biblical perspective. The carnal mind can't understand spiritual things. Look at the bigger picture. Did God not say that the gate to heaven is narrow and few there be that find the narrow way..but the wide gate leads to destruction? Our mission is to show the love of God...this means to obey Him rather than man..and to share the gospel by the way we live and tell them.

The Word of God is not just fairy tales to read and forgotten. His Word is sure and it stands fast and faithful. All that He says will come to pass. This for sure you can take to the bank.

She stood for God's way instead of complying to man's.........

We are told to obey God over man, so anytime man's laws contradict God's then we are to continue to obey Him instead of their's. We are not to follow any man's laws that would make us go against God !!!

True. But we are also taught to accept the consequences of our acts.

When you are placed in a position where you are forced to choose to obey God's Law or man's Law........lesse which you choose.

Stubborn in the Faith......isn't that what we are suppose to be?

The ban in Kentucky WAS ON THE BOOKS long before Kim Davis was a County Official..........so, why "thanks to Kim Davis?" Just looking for someone to crucify?

I believe that the good Christians of Kentucky are glad to fork over a buck or so a head to support a public servant who wouldn't compromise her Christian principles. Win, lose or draw.

I remember a similar thing happened in Colorado some years ago.

I think it's good to stand for righteousness.

at the same time, it's also good to try and pick the best strategy for where to take that stand...

like, can you, with a force of 10,000 withstand the coming force of 20,000... or is it better to ask for terms of peace... and make another plan later...

Daniel 6:7,10 KJVS
[7] All the presidents of the kingdom, the governors, and the princes, the counsellors, and the captains, have consulted together to establish a royal statute, and to make a firm decree, that whosoever shall ask a petition of any God or man for thirty days, save of thee, O king, he shall be cast into the den of lions...
[10] Now when Daniel knew that the writing was signed, he went into his house; and his windows being open in his chamber toward Jerusalem, he kneeled upon his knees three times a day, and prayed, and gave thanks before his God, as he did aforetime.

That's right baby!...and it's just what Kim had always been doing...not signing same sex marriage certificates.

Sure glad God and Jesus AND THE DISCIPLES did not agree with your strategy............I imagine Goliath would still be roaming the earth if David agreed with your strategy. What about Daniel, and the three guys Shad, Mesh, and Abendigo?

good points... also, notice the difference between the Kentucky situation and the bible examples...

the bible examples were all successful.

we don't see Daniel taking his stand in Jerusalem, where I think he was born and captured... because that wasn't a place God said he could win.
