Just curious if anyone has had the chance to watch this new show. Only one episode has aired, but it kinda reminded me of a cross between Limitless and the book Good vs Evil. Apparently some group called Millions of Moms boycotted it but I think if anything having somthing like this on TV will get people reminded that Satan exists. The devil wants us to forget he's here, because if you believe in the devil than you must believe in God.

Yes. I watched it and if you take it in the spirit of just plain ole tv its not as bad as many others ive seen. Its about the devil redeemed one would say. He does good now. lol. some sex and violence as you would imagine. But the thing that i like about it is there is no fear of talking about God. which they do several times over the past two episodes. Hope they keep that up at least. conclusion..its up the the individual to determine if they will watch this.

Yet if Satan is a fictitious entity who man fabricated by his own imagination, then would not those who claim he is actually real be walking against the truth of the LORD considering what is written in Deuteronomy 4:39.

And GOD saw that the wickedness of man was great in the earth, and that every imagination of the thoughts of his heart was only evil continually. Genesis 6:5

What could be a greater evil to the Spirit of Truth than falsehood and deception?

Lucifer Morningstar very slick and demonstrates how the real Lucifer will appear as an angel of light and deceive many.

Very bold and in your face depiction of Lucifer. Can't keep the false persona and slips to reveal the true diabolical persona that is truly him. Do not watch is good advice on this one.

Why would any Christian watch a show that attempts to glorify the devil in such a evident way? Why would someone make a show like that unless they served the devil?

I just saw the preview for the first time...... In my opinion, it scares the heck out of me.... Not for myself, but for all those watching....those hearts and minds that are still in limbo....this is exactly what it takes to keep them there because they don't know any better....its giving "lucifer" a characteristic that we as Christians know better.....this is the opportunity to show that "he ain't that bad.. See even he can change".....in my opinion this show is deadly......

I've watched it. It's a TV show. Meh...

It won't last more than 2 seasons tops. It has an interesting premise behind it, but I just don't see that they can develop enough original story lines without it getting trite and boring.

If I want a "fix" of some Satanic, demonology-ridden stuff, there are a lot of Hollywood movies to fill that niche. I watched "The Vatican Tapes" a few weeks ago, and that was...different.

We already have folks worshipping the devil ..now they are trying to make him seem acceptable. What spirit do folks thinks show up when they use this name?

It hasnt reached the UK yet as far as I know but the new series of X files started this week.

Satanic films have been around for decades. Hammer horror films did a few like 'The Devil Rides Out ' back in the 60's
it was based on one of Dennis Wheatleys novels.
