The pope actually boosted trump's chances. Most people, even catholics, are offended by a mere man attempting to judge judge the hearts of other men. Further, the hypocrisy of this pope is astounding. He claims it is not Christian to build a wall, yet the the Vatican has one of the Highest, strongest walls in the world, with THE most stringent measures to sceen people going in the city.

I don't want trump, but when men like obama and jorge (Pope) speak ill of him it only helps trump.

I'm astounded at how stupid americans are. it is extremely obvious that the papacy is trying to overthrow protestant America with illegal immigrant catholics. Donald trump is the one who is trying to hold back the winds of destruction here, with his plan to build a border wall and deport illegal immigrants. upon taking the pulse of the American public, I am reminded of the prophecy in revelation 13 that says that two-horned beast will revive papal inquisition powers, presumably at the election polls and with continued illegal immigration from the catholic world:

Revelation 13 King James Version (KJV)
[SUP]11 [/SUP]And I beheld another beast coming up out of the earth; and he had two horns like a lamb, and he spake as a dragon.
[SUP]12 [/SUP]And he exerciseth all the power of the first beast before him, and causeth the earth and them which dwell therein to worship the first beast, whose deadly wound was healed.
[SUP]15 [/SUP]And he had power to give life unto the image of the beast, that the image of the beast should both speak, and cause that as many as would not worship the image of the beast should be killed.

MY boyfriend is the chairman of Trumps campaign in my area. I am rather silent on it, but my mother is not happy with him. Trump will likely get it, but isn't my first choice. I like Carson the best, but it looks like he wont win which is unfortunate.

Pr 21:1 The king’s heart is in the hand of the LORD, as the rivers of water: he turneth it whithersoever he will.

God is in control. The only question is whether Gods people will ask of Him a government that will glorify God and allow peaceful worship without interference.

Personally I believe the Antichrist will most likely be a pope. In my opinion Catholicism is a cult. However when running for president it might be a good idea not to insult people's religions because it will surely cost you votes.... this actually doesn't surprise me being that the majority of the Hispanic population is Catholic and we already Trump feel about Hispanics

Wow, I can't believe I'm saying this but I actually agree with the pope on this one. We shouldn't have any borders (or government, or country)

The pope should have kept his peace. He is not a politician,he is not American. He had not right to say anything about Trump or any other candidate running. I don't care who he was talking about, its not his business. And as a Christian I care even less about what the pope says. But I would feel the same way if a preacher said it. Out of line, totally.

Antichrist will be Jewish because the Jews will never follow a Gentile.

It is the media that has cast Trump as anti Hispanic.

Even catholics know the value of a secure border.

Trump consistently "judges the hearts" of other people. And anyway, the Pope's assessment of Trump's spiritual life is based on Trump's actions (this is commonly referred to as "judging a tree by its fruit" and it's practiced by all kinds of Christians all over the world for a variety of purposes). If people find it "Christian" to cheat on their wives, divorce them, and "trade" up...I guess Trump is a Christian. If people find it "Christian" to defraud a variety of sources through multiple declarations of bankruptcy, then I guess Trump is a Christian. If people find it "Christian" to foment fear and hate, then I guess Trump is a Christian. If people find it "Christian" to live a life completely devoted to self and self-aggrandizement, then I guess Trump is a Christian.

Also, your criteria for Pope Francis's hypocrisy is all wrong. HE did not build the wall. In fact, HE has consistently striven for a more pared down, simpler way of living as the Pope. He doesn't have a "popemobile" that's armored up....he drives a simple Fiat, I believe.

Why is it out of line? Other leaders have commented on Trump and his politics. There's nothing "out of line" with any person making a comment about Trump. The same liberty enjoyed by your average American citizen can be exercised by other people in other places.

The walls were built around the Leonine City (larger than the Vatican) IN THE THIRD CENTURY.

The pope didn't build the wall but he didn't take it down either! And I'm not believing that this pope lives like a church mouse. He lives in splendor and has people running at his beck and call. I don't believe in preachers living this way, these millionaire tv preachers and I don't hold with the pope doing it. He has no right to make any comment in an American election. He is not American,he is not in politics. That is up to the people to decide who to vote for,not the pope. I agree with Elizabeth,I have little esteem for the pope. Still if a preacher said the same thing publicly I would feel the same way. Let the people decide. My own parents didn't tell me who to vote for the first time I voted. They told me to listen and find out the info for myself. The pope was out of line.

He is not American,it is none of his business. It is not his place to comment on an election and to say a person that he doesn't even know personally is not Christian. Again,I don't care who he said it about. And a man who allows people to kiss his hand and bow and scrape before him is a hypocrite to say anyone else is not a Christian. He ought to mind his own business.
