Wow. The man hasn't even won the primary and people already have judged his soul calling him the antichrist. Well ain't that just Christian. Why would trump ever have to stand before the judgement seat when CCers already did Gods job for him?

Keep in mind I'm one of those "crazy" partial preterists that believes the antichrist happened already in the first century but that's for another topic.

His behavior isn't good most of the time. I agree but it's still not our job to judge his soul. I can't stand Obama and not even I would have labeled him as the antichrist

Im honestly confused as to why Kasich hasnt conceded already the man has less of a chance than a snowball in hades.
Well it's a simple tactic, it's an endurance run. Kasich is the best qualified, and is the only one with a record of being able to fix several of the key issues of the current time such as debt reduction, balancing the budget, growing the economy, increasing jobs, helping the poor, tackling the abortion system, etc. Kasich would also probably be the most merciful.

If the public won't choose Kasich though then frankly they deserve to get Trumped. At least with Trump we will be able to push back against the rising tide of islam and secularism, which are the two biggest problems of this century so far.

Why do you feel he appeals to the darker nature? Righteous indignation is not dark at all. People have had enough. He gives people hope of making things right again, beginning with respecting the Constitution and our sovereignty.

i wouldn't exactly call Trumpeting "righteous" indignation.

no, i would never call it that at all.

and as far as respecting the constitution -- this guy is openly advocating not just torture that is forbidden by law and international treaty, but "much worse."
this from the guy who wants to (pretend) swear to be the #1 upholder of the law.

"our" sovereignty does not exist. God is sovereign. and mr Trump "does not bring God into that picture"

if you don't like Obama, this guy is 10x worse for the country than a populist centrist. Obama regards popular will, the rule of law, and cross-party compromise. Trump regards nothing but himself and his own power. he will lead us directly into war and ruin.

riiiiight. because Mexico just has so much money. and if you shout loudly enough you get your way.

Trump will likely get the R nomination. but i doubt - at least i hope - that America writ large is stupid enough to let him win the presidency though. this is the conservative party throwing their legitimacy away.

Hyperbole much? Rhetorical question. Yes, you do. Try again. Keep it up and you'll be right up there with Dude and all his stupid hyperbole nonsense.

when did citing events that actually happened become 'hyperbole'?

...rhetorical question

maybe i need to be more like trump and just start making stuff up instead...

I AM NOT a Trump fan...........believe I've made this quite clear for some time now.......... :)

However, the idea of comparing him to THE Antichrist doesn't work. Simply because (as I understand Scripture) THE Antichrist will be loved and respected by the World. He will be a UNITER of the Worlds people.

Trump is ANYTHING BUT a uniter........so I can't see comparing him to THE Antichrist.

Now............small "a" antichrist? Sure, anyone who is NOT FOR Christ is anti-Christ by definition.

:)
i agree that trump does not fit scripture's entire description of the antichrist...but he fits a lot of it...that is why i called the examples i gave 'near misses' instead of 'matches' or 'fulfilled prophecies'

trump is not the antichrist...but he is testing the church's defense against deception and apostasy for weaknesses that the real antichrist can then exploit...

If there ever was a dry run for the anti- Christ it was Obama. He came out of nowhere, there is still hardly anything we know for sure about his background. He was called a messiah by some in the media. He turned the country upside down. He promised hope and change and everyone fell for it,twice. Even Christians,so called. The man mocks the Bible, said he was against abortion and gay marriage before he was elected,in a church, before the whole country and lied like a rug. Yet he was still elected again! I wont even go into his support of Muslims and his disdain for Israel and what I really think about him.But if there ever was a dry run for the anti-Christ it was definitely Obama. Already been done. The man has single handedly knocked America off its feet. The world no longer respects her, patriotism is basically dead, especially with the youth. We were told we are "not exceptional" and thanks to Obama the world believes it and so does most of the country. Obama is the worst president in history and went a long way to further satans agenda. Forget Trump, Obama already tore the country wide open and set us back 50 yrs.
while i agree that obama is wicked and has been a disaster for this country...2 thessalonians 2:3 connects the coming of the man of lawlessness with 'the apostasy'...and as i pointed out earlier in this thread obama never did fool any particularly large percentage of evangelical christians...he only attracted those who were already lost...

Quote "is wanting to waterboard someone just because 'they deserve it' dark enough for you?"

I can't speak to the rest,I don't know about it. Waterboarding people because they deserve it, do you know what they did to the men in Benghazi? Do you know what they do to Americans they capture over there?! Waterboarding is nothing!! If we can protect our citizens here and abroad and get info why would we not do it? They aren't holding Sunday school teachers at Gitmo, these are terrorists,of the worst kind. They release them and they go back out and kill more Americans! More innocent people! Beheading Christians. Waterboard them because they deserve it? You better believe it!!
so merely because they have caused pain and death we get to cause pain to them?

this is a 'christian' response? really?

now if you or trump were saying that waterboarding actually works to gain useful information that could save american lives then that would be an entirely different debate...

however trump's argument is that even if it doesn't work they deserve it anyway...but if it doesn't work then it is just gratuitous torture motivated by revenge...

which is in no way a proposal that any real christian could ever support...

If it comes down to Hill or Trump what else can we do? Thats where it is headed. If people think Trump lies put her up against Hill, she is evil. If evangelicals sit down and dont vote again we get Hill. Look up liar in the dictionary and you'll see Hill,Bill and Obama hand in hand singing Kumbaya.
if it comes down to trump or clinton...then it comes down to a candidate who deserves to lose against a candidate who doesn't deserve to win...

do you seriously think trump is any better than hillary clinton? trump money has been one of the major clinton puppet strings for decades...trump is part of the reason the clintons have been able to do so much evil...
