This is good news! Thank you for posting.
I doubt that the usa news sources will cover it since they are bought and paid for .
I especially liked the added in scripture eccles 3:8.
Ill add in one for good measure!

Romans 8:31 What shall we then say to these things? If God be for us, who can be against us?

Agreed, I'm proud of my Christians brothers over there. May god be with them, and us all. Because I'm sure the fight will one day come to our back door as well.

As I understand it, Muslims in Iraq are now converting in record numbers to Zoroastrianism and Christianity. ISIS is, as it turns out, very bad advertisement for Muhammad. It is not unreasonable to speculate that there will be a Christian state in the Middle East when this has all come to pass.

I do find it rather interesting how modern Christians living so comfortably in the West (for now), chide these men for their self-defense. Christians have invariably been armed throughout the centuries.

I like the contradiction between the popular idea of turning the other cheek and the verse in Ecclesiastes about there being a time for peace and a time for war. I think this shows that if we adhere to an all-encompassing teaching on turning the other cheek, then contradictions will pop up in the Bible like this. I think we are to turn the other cheek in our personal lives. But we cannot turn others' cheeks for them or apply this teaching on an international level. And let's not forget that any man who does not provide for his family is worse than an infidel. I assume part of this provision is his protection of his family.

I just don't think the idea of turning the other cheek applies on an international scale, and I believe these Christians are well within their rights to be doing what they are doing.

Oh yeah, it's different if you don't have a cheek to turn after they are done cutting your head off.

If Christians in Europe hadn't defended them selves centuries ago we would all be praying to Allah by now trouble is
too much cheek turning is going on at present.

The turn the other cheek thing is taking out of context.
